Nice schedule Greg, and i look forward to seeing you in vegas.
Any idea as to when you will announce the venue for this year in vegas? Definitely not for a few more weeks. We actually have several different proposals and have a lot of different routes we can go. I wish it was as simple as a return to the Bellagio but they have a convention taking the entire convention space on Saturday, Sept. 8th, so we have some other options to consider. Give us a few more weeks and hopefully you'll like our decision.

That's a pretty incredible schedule. I was planning on heading to Vegas for the 2nd weekend this season. I might have to consider a week long trek instead. Wow. That's the idea, to make this an annual vacation that encompasses more than just two days of cramped drafts. I've seen you guys as you run from room to room or even casino to casino. Spread it out, enjoy the fun and still do all of the live drafts that you can. We'll try to accommodate everyone if we can fill up each of these leagues. And yet I still think Friday and Saturday will be the main days, but let's load up Thursday and mid-week like we did this year. Room for plenty of drafts.
Come to Las Vegas Glenn and come earlier than originally planned!! You won't regret it!! [/QUOTE]No doubt. What a week that would be! Now I just have to convince the little lady.

FYI - NFL just announced the 1st game is moving to Wed 9/5 from Thurs 9/6 to not upset the Demo Convention speech by Obama.
That throws a wrench in some plans I imagine - I know it makes my local draft night and roster input a little more time sensative - we always draft the Tues after Labor Day.

Well, Greg, I am sure you have already called Roger Goodell to thank him for the rework he just caused you to have to do. What a moron. I am certainly contacting Tom Benson to let him know his commissioner thinks his role in politics is more important than the NFL.

As I tweeted this morning, it's OBAMA who should be changing his speech to Wednesday night, not the NFL changing from Thursday to Wednesday. Who the hell has more clout in the US today, the NFL or the President? That's an easy call.
Time to readjust the schedule. And time to do that now.

With so much available time on Thursday, I wonder if there's a need for any drafts on Wednesday. Maybe that's just fun day and travel day for many of you folks coming in. Thursday can really be a loaded day now for those who want to do it all in the NFFC. It's a great schedule if we can make it work. Please give me some thoughts here and we'll tweak this together. And remember, we can do a Wednesday night party if there's interest:

I am trying to work it out so early wednesday is a travel day, arriving before kickoff. You probably have it right in that alot of folks will travel wednesday now and thursday might be wide open.
Before the NFL made the wednesday announcement,my plan was to arrive wednesday anyway, just didnt care if it was morning, noon,or night. Now i want it to be morning for sure.I was gonna do all NFFC on saturday, but thursday will work too.
Nice choices,nice schedule.
