Upgrade Brees?

With Shockey coming to the Saints, is anyone upgrading drew brees? Colston and shockey are some nice weapons. I hope no one has tony romo ranked ahead of brees.

You have to love the upside of a guy who has sick talent around him, and gets to toss the ball as much as he will.

Honestly, he could end the season #1 if the Pats revert to a more balanced attack.

I assume both colston and bush took a slight hit in your rankings with the shockey news?

How about Devery Henderson and/or Meachem? Do they get more production because defenses now have to cover Bush/Colton AND Shockey? Some sleeper WR will have a nice year on the Saints this year. Much like Kevin Curtis on the Rams...Stokely on the Colts...

I'd adjust like this:

Brees- slight upgrade
Bush- slight downgrade
Colston- slight downgrade
Patten/Meachem- very slight upgrade.

While less attention will be paid to the WR2, they will still be on the outside getting single coverage. I have to think that won't change, so the only upgrade is due to a progression on their part at the position.

I own Brees and Boss in our June 26th Auction DC. They both got a bump due to this Shockey trade. I'm going to have to go shopping for my Boss jersey this weekend.

Shockey is a slight upgrade. He'll catch a ton of balls from Brees.

Yes, I like Shockey this year, please don't tell the reptile.
