Just came back from OTB. What a nuthouse that place is.

As I get home and look at my ticket, they gave me the 9 horse instead of the 19! SOB's!!!!

I can go back, but when this happens, I just roll with it, because IF the 9 comes in, I will be pissed that I went back. So I'm sorry guys. I have to put the WHAMMY on the 19 horse. As I watch the race, I will be pretend "finger" shooting at this horse, the whole way...LMAO

So here are the magic numbers that could get you a free entry (or 2!) into the Main EVents this year.

5/6/9/15/16/17 $1 trifecta box.

Let's do it!!!

Since "I Want Revenge" scratched, I see huge value and decided to go seven deep in a tri-box. I think the extra horse was well worth the extra 90 dollars.

6-15-17-12-19-1-16 (I added the 1 and 16 after I Want scratched)

Jules selected: 4,6,7,11,12,15,16

$1 Super - 6,12,15,16 / 6,12,15,16 / 6,12,15,16 / 1,6,12,15,16,17,19

Good Luck to ALL!

Hopefully someone will fund their fantasy sports year today!

How about Einstein? What a great stretch run - just enough expended to take the wire. It looks as though he senses what he needs to do every time out.

thanks to a last minute jockey check, (Borel's been my favorite jockey since his early CD days) I threw the 8 horse on top of a 1-2-3 jackpot with pioneer in 2nd... so I took home the FAMILY JACKPOT... again!

we knew deep down this was a day for a BIG trifecta... unfortunately, I too, missed any trifecta opportunities, as we boxed

Pioneer of the Nile << and went with him to win.
Musket Man << great 2nd place showing
Desert Party
General Quarters
Hold Me Back
and Mr Hot Stuff

had 2 of 3, but that's not enough.

40K plus for the Trifecta and the Super paid over 400K.

I knew there would be HUGE value with I Want out and the conditions factored in. I even told my brother that an All/All/All trifecta would PAY OFF. That bet would have cost $5814. I just didn't have a spare 6K to risk.

My instincts were telling me to lay off if I couldn't properly fund a shot at this one because any one of those horses could have one. In the end, the shot at that pool was too compelling to lay off of.

The 8 horse took to that track like a duck on water. Fun to watch. Even more fun to watch Calvin react and treat the crowd to a rare victory lap or sorts. That dude is crazy.

The Preakness and Belmont are going to be wild too. Great values will prevail as the fields will be full and competitive.

Giddie Up!
