I too would go Reggie Wayne who I am real high on this year. He could be #1 overall if he is healthy.
I would do this knowing that I would be able to pair him up with a great RB.
More than likely team 14 takes Steve Smith and one of the RBs.
That would leave us to choose from either Westy - DeAng - Gore.
I would love this start this year. Especially knowing that I am going to pick early in the 3rd round.

I also would not want to leave team 14 with Wayne and Smith.

It's obvious the top wideouts are getting LOADS of love these days, but is there anyone left in the NFFC who would be salivating at spot 14 here and take two RBs among Westy, Gore, DeAngelo and then grab a WR to start Round 3? I know the dropoff at WR is going to be huge in the next round, but I'm just wondering if there's anyone left out there who would love to start out RB-RB at the turn with these choices staring at them. Anyone??

Currently there's some obvious risk with Westbrook; and it would be a tough choice between Wayne or D Will.

I'll go along with Wayne here

At this point since I also would want a WR, I would grab Wayne knowing one of the 3 RB's slip back.
That being said, if I was at 14, and the draft went as scripted here (with Wayne going 13), I could definitely live with a Gore/DeAngelo or Gore/Westy start!
Another for Wayne the way this is playing out.

Is this thread about draft strategy or relative value of the available players? The reason I ask is that if I'm drafting at the top of the draft it doesn't matter who goes where at the bottom turn. However, if we are just looking at it as though it's our pick at the current position, then strategies will vary from the turn going forward IMO.
For value, I go Westy.
For strategy, I go Wayne.

For strategy, I go Wayne. I know it's asking a lot for people to think (obviously some of the previous drafters don't get it).....but what we are trying to do via this message board committee is make the BEST pick we can at each draft spot BASED on who has already been selected and who is available at THAT pick.
Pretty simple if we say you are #2 and Peterson goes first - who would YOU take....we are just moving along to each new decision as though YOU were in the CURRENT draft spot......
