REGGIE BUSH Bush makes great sense, but aren't the knee injury reports scaring you at this point Ken? He may have had two surgeries on that knee and they are draining it now. How does he make it through the season when he's struggling to make it through the first week of camp?

Is anyone else concerned with the reports on Bush?

I've passed on him a few times because the knee situation concerns me. If he was practicing fully he'd be an incredible value in the third round given his reception potential. And if his situation looks better by NFFC weekend then I wouldn't expect him to last this long in many drafts. But right now, the concerns are too great with me to take the chance on him. Not just yet anyway.

If this was still going on at end of preseason yes, absolutely.

But this is pretty much what I would have expected to start camp.

He is a player you anticipate missing 2 games, hopefully not too much more than that. I am sure most expect that same 2 games out of Steven Jackson and maybe even Andre, LT, Slaton, or Gore - all 1st round picks. I would say the same worry is with Westy, Boldin, Jacobs and Colston, all 2nd round picks. How about Marshall, Brown, and Pierre who all just went before him in the 3rd?

I think the upside is too great. Even if he only plays 10-12 games he can get 20 pts any given week. I think he'll be fine enough to start the season. Is it a gamble, sure. But really now, who the hell is Housh? I mean c'mon. I don't think Housh is playing safe, I think that's playing scared.

Doomsday you really need to explain that to me....Housh is a PPR monster and will be the CLEAR #1 receiver on a team without a great run game and Hasselbeck a very good passer back from his injury problems (and a very capable backup in Wallace there for protection)

I would be thrilled in September to get TJ as a WR2..........and there are some drafts where he would be an acceptable WR1 if I started RB/RB

Housh is not that bad and I agree a good WR2, or acceptable WR1 if went RB-RB.

BUT...

I would not take him over Reggie, even with knee concerns.

While he is definitely "playable" I do not see him anywhere near his days in Cincy and again I would take the following over him... Braylon, Roy Williams, A Gonzalez, Eddie Royal, and even Lee Evans.

I meant to say picking him is playing "scared" in respects to taking him over Reggie in this spot. What makes Reggie worth the risk say 3 or 4 picks later?

I was going to vote for Braylon. But in this spot it made sense to me to pick Reggie thinking that Braylon or one of the other WR I mentioned would come back to me in RD-4, especially with the expected run on TE's to commence at this turn.

I hope everybody is voting here as if this is their team at this spot, and not just throwing the same names out there over and over again as they appear on the ADP reports.

Thanks....we will agree to disagree....BUT you are correct with this "I hope everybody is voting here as if this is their team at this spot, and not just throwing the same names out there over and over again as they appear on the ADP reports." That is one of the reasons in each vote I give the players already drafted by that "spot" because that is VERY relevant.

And I think most are and looking at WHO they already have....one of the earlier posters said they really liked their start with Fitzgerald and Jacobs and I agree, so one might argue to take the highest upside player, but just as many would be correct I think in early August when Bush can't even practice both sessions in a day to not toss their good start away, and I think Housh makes a lot of sense....he is certainly better than Braylon dropping passes in Cleveland or Roy Williams or AGonz and certainly Evans with TO now crying for the ball in Buffalo......I will give you a maybe on Royal....but again it is early and if Marshall is in Denver and playing, there are two big mouths to feed from one questionable QB.
