IDP .... any chance ...

... the NFFC will ever incorporate IDP into the rosters ?

I would like to see , 2 DL - 2 DB and perhaps eliminate 4 bench spots.

I love defence , so i may be a little bias.

I also think it would make the Free Agent action more intersting , exciting and require more strategy.

Any Thoughts ?

I can tell you that you are going to be in the minority here D-Day.

IDP just isn't going to happen in a NATIONAL contest. Sure, it may be a cute twist in a local league, but people already want more bench positions to stockpile OFFENSIVE players.

Plus, as someone who had played in IDP leagues, there is NOTHING worse than losing because some DE no one even knows, gets 2sacks and a fumble recovery and you lose.

People say there is luck in fantasy football??? Add IDP's and your luck goes up TEN-FOLD!

Just my opinion.

I smell a 14 team / $100 Entry for a chance for a main-event entry next season brewing!

D-Day -- not sure you can find 13 fellow IDP lovers, but if you can we'll make it happen.

Fanball's OwnersEdge.com product provides tons of IDP information and it's definitely a favorite style of mine. I love the challenge.

I'm sure Greg will kill me, but if we can find 14 people willing to pay $100 bucks a pop, I'll set it up on Fanball Commissioner and give away a free entry to the main event next year to the winner.

I'll also give everyone who signs up an Autographed Channing Crowder 8X10 -- for those of you who don't play IDP -- he's the Miami Dolphins LB!

Crowder bounced back from offseason knee surgery, posting a career-high 91 solo tackles in his first season in defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni’s 3-4 scheme. The big knock on Crowder is his lack of big plays, as he has failed to register an interception or a forced fumble in each of the past two campaigns. Regardless, the Dolphins’ front office made a large financial commitment during the offseason, signing Crowder to a three-year contract extension. The best draft application for Crowder is in tackle-heavy formats due to the aforementioned lack of big play output.

RH - Now I see why Greg made this move.

I understand BW , and where he is comming from , so i would not want to mess with the Regular games.

Never even thought of doing something like you suggested. Thats a Great Idea.

Count Me In , that makes 2 . Doubt we will get BWas , But you never know.

Like you said , years ago there was no Data on Defensive Players , NOT SO NOW .

I LOVE DEFENCE . TO ME THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A GREAT HIT . THATS FOOTBALL !

Funny You should mention Crowder, I have been all over him in these IDP Drafts , he is a Tackle Machine.

So who else is in , Damn , a $100 entry for a chance to win free entry to the main plus an autographed Crowder Helmet , You can't Beat That !

RH , perhaps we should take roster suggetions as were doing this (ie.)

7 offensive ... 1 qb , 2 rb , 2 wr , 1 te , 1 k
6 defensive ... 2 dl , 2 db , 2 d
5 bench

I just figure since were catering to Defensive
Fanatics , we should even it out.

Just a suggestion , what do you think , tweek it as you see fit ?
