I have no strong feeling on this one way or the other. But what is the reason both Reggie Bush and the Saints defense can't get the 6 points for the TD?
This is obviously not something that would happen often. Only a handful of starting offensive players (that would be in starting fantasy lineups) are also returning kicks.
Again, I care less how we do it. Just wondering what the reason is that both Bush and the Saints could not get a scoring credit. If that were the rule it would simply ad a LITTLE value to a Bush for a Santonio Holmes. Lets be honest, Bush will average .5 punt returns for TD's over his career. This would not happen often.
Player should get credit for any scoring!!!

Exactly Frankie. You could do that with Randel El, Bush and several others. One play shouldn't give 12 fantasy points involving just one player.
.... no problem. if someone is dumb enough to draft Ed Reed or any defensive player and start them as a flex, go right ahead. I'd be happy to be playing against that team.
I still think punt returns should be counted to that player if he is an offensive player you started.... I wouldn't care if that was 12 points
total. No, I don't have Bush. I guess I'm in the minority though

I'd really like to see more people chime in. I wonder just how many feel that the player should get points. I'm not sure if the NFFC has ever had a poll for something like this but it would be nice to see what the numbers would be.

Also you give teams TOO MUCH freedom.league integrity might be hard to control. as it is you have teams that quit and do not put legit lineups in. i could imagine the insanity that would happen being able to draft players like ed reed and pacman or champ bailey. its hard enough to look at teams starting players on bye weeks cause they are out.
THIS IS THE BUSINESS WE HAVE CHOSEN

Just as a point of reference, most games used D only in the very early days and returns went to the player.
When the Net came along, you started to see more and more D/ST, until it became way more of the norm.
No way should any ONE player get a shot at double TD's. That makes no sense at all.

I would rather have the defense/special teams get the points. I don't see the point in lowering their value.
If there was more players like Bush who played on special teams, it might be worth looking into.
I don't think you should change a rule to increase a player or two's value.
