This league could serve as the petry dish of forward-thinking fantasy football minds. Keep the talent coming... the bigger the nffc gets, the harder it will be to try a new idea in the main event. as you know there won't be enough data points to calm everyones fears. [/QUOTE]This is an excellent point. With each passing year, as the masses swell in numbers, the "acceptable norm" will be harder to change.

This is an excellent point. With each passing year, as the masses swell in numbers, the "acceptable norm" will be harder to change. That's why I actually enjoyed the satellite leagues this year more than the main event and I doubt I'm alone in that thought. Consider, GG, this event last year was the springboard to the satellite leagues this year so there's hope. The more people play the satellite leagues with BBDS the easier it will be to change. And after having the 3rd worst scoring team in our league win the $5k this year, I am definitely going back on the attack for payout change.

Is the the Gekko league going to go to total points for 16 Weeks NEXT year? If you are doing BBDS (I know, dumb question! ), and total points I would be VERY interested in getting in should an opening come up.

If we are going by NFFC credentials, it isn't even close (or any other "high stakes" events). I highly doubt Gekko and the "committee" are going to care about your success in your local leagues which obviously are made up with "subpar" players.

Now if he told you that you were in should an opening come up, that is a different story.

either story either way SNAKE is in ahead of you Waz...SNAKE Sorry Snake, but without much research, it doesn't take a "brain surgeon" to figure out that you have LOST money in the NFFC the past 2 years ($2,000 to be exact!), and I have won $$.

Now if he already extended an invitation (as I said earlier), then that is different.

However, there are a lot of quality owners currently in the Gekko league, and having a "patsy" like yourself wouldn't probably be good for the league!

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then Snake. In fact that is a perfect nickname for you..... BS! Not only for "Blind Squirrel", but also for all the B.S you bring to this board about your "phantom" fantasy success!

I agree that my "main" team underachieved, but I guess you think you are a better fantasy player than myself, Gekko, RC, Scarecrow, etc. because you had more points than us THIS year???

I believe ALL of the aforementioned players have scored more points than you over a 2 year span in the "main", and have had more success in other NFFC leagues (auction, DC, etc).

You can't win this battle Snake, as you can tell everyone that you won $6,000-$7,000 in your local leagues this past year, but no one really believes you (especially since we know that you didn't win your league against #194!! Wasn't first place $2,500?? What was 2ND place- $3,000? )

You are evaluated on the "whole package" of what you bring here, and in other "high stakes" events (not your silly local leagues). And although you are good at the MB banter, you don't have much prowess as a fantasy player in the NFFC.

No one is going to care about your "wild card" entrance into the playoffs, performing horribly in the playoffs, and only making $500 (which again Snake, is a LOSS of $750!!) in less than a month!
