Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Aug 25, 2008 4:32 am

The debut NBC Sports National Fantasy Football Championship Primetime main event will host live drafts on Saturday, Aug. 30th at the Flamingo Las Vegas. These drafts will start promptly at 4 p.m. PST and consist of 7 leagues of 12 teams each. Everyone should be in the draft room at least 20 minutes before-hand as we will start EXACTLY at 10 a.m. There will be one break after round 10 and we’ll finish after the 20th round. Good luck everyone.

Remember that this year we will have 3RR (Third Round Reversal) in the main event. That means we’ll start out 1-12 in Round 1, 12-1 in Round 2 and 12-1 again in Round 3. Serpentine continues in Round 4 as 1-12, 12-1, etc. through Round 20.

Las Vegas will feature 84 teams consisting of 7 full leagues. Below is the draft order for Las Vegas League 1:

LAS VEGAS LEAGUE 1
1. Mark Srebro, York, Pennsylvania
2. Dan Thomas, Saint Cloud, Florida
3. James Pruett, Auburn, Alabama
4. Darren Eliason, Beulah, North Dakota

Should be interesting. With the #1 and your talent level, you should just sign the 100K check when you are there! ;)
tomlinson was not my #1 rb entering the season. unfortunately the guy i had pegged #1 held out for a few weeks and now i have visions of LJ's season last year. add in that Pace is hurt AGAIN in the same place, no way i touch sjax at #1 now.

if i do decide to take tomlinson (and he holds up his end of the bargain LIKE HE HAS FOR EVERYONE ELSE THROUGHOUT THE YEARS), i like my chances.
Lot of tread on those tires Mark. Injured last year, no clear backup, offensive line is a mess...

I would go with Brady, but that's me! ;)
