Phone/Online League 4: NFFC Classic

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Aug 30, 2009 12:47 pm

The sixth annual National Fantasy Football Championship will host live drafts for the main event on Saturday, Sept. 5th in a new format: Phone/Online Leagues. These drafts will start promptly at 1 ET, noon CT and 10 am PT and consist of four leagues of 14 teams each. Everyone in the Phone/Online leagues will be given an 800-number to call into and a URL for their draft room on MockDraftCentral.com. All picks will be made verbally into the teleconference by each owner and the picks will be made by a representative by MockDraftCentral.com. Teams will be able to hear each pick and see each pick, with 60 seconds allowed per pick once the selection is officially made on MDC.com. There will be one break after round 10 and we’ll finish after the 19th round. Good luck everyone.
Remember that this year we will again have 3RR (Third Round Reversal) in the main event. That means we’ll start out 1-14 in Round 1, 14-1 in Round 2 and 14-1 again in Round 3. Serpentine continues in Round 4 as 1-14, 14-1, etc. through Round 19.

The Phone/Online League will feature 56 teams consisting of 4 full leagues. Below is the draft order for Phone/Online League 4:

2. Travis Loontjer, Omaha, Nebraska

Nice....
Projection 2010: Either winning my Classic LV/Chicago Dual League, or making it to the Catalina Wine Mixer.

The million dollar winner isn't in this league - you have the other Schroeder who is the better (but not as lucky) player.

I sat next to Chad at the WCOFF main last year and told him about the NFFC - very happy he didn't land in my league. MBauler and I were battling it out for 2nd all season while Chad ran away with it.

Also, it is RICK THOMAS in your league (a good player in his own right), but not the other 2 time champ (Dan Thomas).

As has been stated, this should be a tough league!
