Hoops Leagues forming NOW
Hey, where are all the hoops players? The NBA season starts in a week, and hockey looks like a lost cause (sorry Dyv).
Don't you guys want something to do from Christmas until March Madness?

I won't be in because of the time mainly but also
because of the fact that the draft is not turning out the way it was intended. If I remember right this was to be trial hoops leagues to model for 2005 games additions. Its turned into a Yahoo money league. Nothing wrong with that it's just not I wanted to do. As far as a trial I guess you can sum it up as not enough interest to warrent Greg wanting to do it. But I'm just guessing.

Dyv, is this league still alive? I feel like the last basketball fan in America!

Might as well leave it open for possibility until tomorrow. Let's say at 4pm EST tomorrow we'll draw a line and call it off or re-list all the rules and draft details.
Thanks!

Sounds like a no-go. Too bad--this had potential to be fun.
Anyone know of any other NBA leagues?

Officially done. Sorry, interest just wasn't there. Thanks to everyone who expressed an interest.

We should do a midseason NBA league. I usually don't pay too much attention to basketball until football season is over.

Okay, sorry to hear that the basketball league didn't take off. I promise to get something formally set up next year and we'll start off slow and easy. But we will get this done in 2005-06.
I don't like to recommend other contests because there are so many options out there, but SportsBuff.com has a low entry fee option, and of course, CBS Sportsline.com has several options, including Diamond Basketball with a $250 entry fee. Those are some options for those of you looking for games now.
Plan for next year and we'll start small and build it up. Thanks guys.
