I LIKE THE 1060.00 LEAGUE MORE. what he meant by $1060 per league was the revenue generated available for the overall prizes, not $1060 as an entry fee.

The entry fee is $600 x 12 teams = $7200 x 80% payout = $5760 - $4700 in league prizes = $1060 per league in revenue going towards the overall prize pool.

He's basing the $5000 overall prize on us having 5 leagues, 60 teams. 5 complete leagues would leave enough for a $5 K overall prize. I think I got all that right at least. Hopefully 5 leagues is a very modest estimate tho. I'd like to see 8 leagues. 8 is my favorite number and 96 is a solid number of teams for an Inaugural fantasy basketball championship.

I just hope this is still going to happen. I've been checking this thread several times daily hoping to see some great news.

May as well throw this out there right now.... Who would you guys pick at #3?

I LIKE THE 1060.00 LEAGUE MORE. Eddie, is there any fantasy sport you don't compete in? ;) Gotta love it. Once I get licensing approval, I'll spread the word. Just painstakingly waiting to hear back from the NBA as I MUST do this right out of the gate.

[/QUOTE]You have all that right. Now I just need NBA approval and I know we can promote this within our NFFC and NFBC guys and get a few leagues right off the bat. I'm ready to roll with this once I get league approval, but that's not happening right now. Eight leagues for the first year would be AWESOME!
