Tom..the bidding process for the NFFC is just very time consuming..... but if they can run it like the NFBC that would be great. As Mark said it's as close to perfect as you could get.
I think the problem of not keeping the same free agent page when a bid is designated and also having to click on conditional bid every time which then causes you to lose that particular free agent page is the problem....with the NFBC I click on conditional bid and the player and the bid amount and it stays on that free agent page not going back the main free agent page (pitcher)
Basically here's an example of what i'm saying
If I'm clicking on a conditional wr and place the bid and I accept it.... the site goes back to quarterback, place bid....it should stay on wr,conditional bid..that's all

When you use this system in baseball to pick up free agents, you hit the player you want to ADD and a drop down box appears for you to scroll your lineup to select a DROPPED player. In FOOTBALL- You still must navigate several clicks to ADD just one conditional player. A process that REPEATS for each conditional player added. This is where the TIME factor builds with multiple teams.
ANOTHER NFBC feature missing here is that in most cases ( at least in my experience ) with each new PICKUP the player to be DROPPED is the same for your first conditional bid and your third....fourth....etc. After installing your bids on the player to be picked up you can CHANGE the top named player to be DROPPED and the entire DROP list reverts to that player. As it stands now, you must go one at a time for each conditional player you listed. Again, a small thing put in place for baseball that would be a welcome addition for football.
EXAMPLE: I want to pick up Matt Cassel or a servicable QB. I see 5 viable names with starting jobs. I list these five names and use TOM BRADY as my drop for each of the five players listed. Now - I get late news that maybe Brady isn't as seriously hurt. Maybe I want to hold him and drop by backup Defense instead of Brady. I go back to the FIRST bid on CASSEL and change the drop to the backup Defense. In BASEBALL, each of the other "conditional bids" would change to the Defense automatically. Small, but a huge help.
Hope that helps.
