$500 Online Auction League

Post by Diesel » Sun Aug 23, 2009 2:01 pm

If the NY 12 Team Auction League doesn't fill, I'd like to propose a $500 online Auction league, drafted on ESPN, and played out exactly like the live Auction 12 team events.

I'm not sure how many other people would be into this, but I'm trying to fill my plate with the empty spot that's left if the live event doesn't happen.

Anybody game? (Again, only if the NY league doesn't fill)

Marc I must admit, I'd be very surprised if we can't get even one auction league in New York this year. What's the world coming to when New York and the entire East Coast can't even get 12-14 teams together for a modestly priced auction?? Tom and I will hit the phones hard tomorrow and see where we can go with this. This is a worthy idea, so keep it going, but damn I want a live auction in NY.
Greg, the 14 team Classic NY Auction filled, didn't it? I hope I didn't misread that one.
Ah, yes, you are correct. I overreacted on the Primetime news!!! :D Okay, if we can't fill the Primetime Auction, let's look at other options. But damn, let's try to fill that one. Back-to-back auctions in NYC is the way to go.

I'm not even in a Main Event this year. If BOTH Auctions didn't fill, I'd have withdrawls.

I could be up for a 14-teamer at that price if I don't make it to LV.
