LT...finished?

Post by drago » Thu Sep 17, 2009 7:31 am

I know this is something that LT owners might not want to hear but it seems apparent that LT is done as a top RB. He looked slow and tentative most of the night with little of the burst and power he once had. It seems like when RBs lose it, they lose it fast. Oakland was playing very tough and he had some linemen go down as well, but he just looks done. I think he'll have a few games where he looks like the old LT but next year I don't see him being drafted in the first 3 rounds. Any thoughts?

GG,

You would not have liked this start

First round: LT
Second round: S. Jackson
Third round: Anthony Gonzalez

i think he's pretty done. he hasn't had power or speed for about a year now and seems to trip over himself making moves. hes not terrible, but i would call him a below average starting running back.

he can still put up numbers in the offense he's in though... how much sproles (the better running back) cuts into those is tbd.

I GUESS IF BREES FINISHES 5TH FOR QB'S THIS YEAR HE'LL BE DONE.

from a talent perspective i think he's done and is a below average starting running back and was last year too (before and after the injury).

from a fantasy perspective he can still put up numbers as long as he's starting for a good offense.

no, you were right on agonz and you are right on ladainian. tough to predict someone suffering a noncontact knee injury
