Red vs. Blue Live NFFC $150 DC IS NOW SOLD OUT!

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Jun 01, 2012 2:02 pm

Last year we ran an NFFC $60 Draft Champions League live on the air during Scott Atkins' Red vs. Blue Blog Talk Radio Show. It was a blast drafting live and having the results available online for those following show. The league was also a big success with Marc Quitsch winning the league title (IS THAT POSSIBLE? ), Scott Shudy finishing 2nd and Michael Trent finishing 3rd.

I reached out to Scott Atkins today to see if we could do this again and we both felt that Friday, June 15th would work best for this Red vs. Blue league. We no longer have the $60 entry point, but we will offer this as part of the NFFC $150 Draft Champions National Championship. So entry fee is $150, 14 teams, 30 rounds, 3RR, Draft Champions format. We'll start the draft at 9 pm ET, giving Scott several rounds of info before and during his show.

I'll reach out to the 14 owners who appeared in this league last year and see if any of them would like to return, but if this format interests you feel free to sign up here on our boards or contact me at [email protected]. The first 14 who want to compete in this league gets a spot. Should be fun and good luck to everyone.

It took Michael Jordan to reach the pros to realize his true potential. The spotlight brought out his undeniable talent. The same happened for me, hearing my picks announced LIVE, last year. As I heard every pick taken, I knew each listener was finally getting to see what old Diesel was capable of. Count me in again here. But beware. My 2012 cheat sheets are 2nd to NONE. They are secured in a Smith and Wesson, stainless steel briefcase. When I open it, I need sunglasses because it glows so bright, like the case from Pulp Fiction.

Count me in to compete and repeat!

This will be fun, draft live on the air, NFFC style. Who wants to put their early draft skills to the test? I think we're at 9 actually with Michael Trent, I'm sure he wants back in. I'll check, but if so, that means only 5 spots left!
