Fantasy owners know that and despite getting burned last year by some of these players, they have to jump right back on and trust them again. Here's a look at eight NFL stars who are bouncing back from injury and where they went in each of our first four NFFC Draft Champions Leagues:

Darren McFadden: 18, 22, 18, 23
Adrian Peterson: 18, 24, 25, 26
Matt Forte: 25, 14, 25, 19
DeMarco Murray: 20, 31, 26, 29
Jamaal Charles: 33, 29, 27, 39
Fred Jackson: 32, 35, 51, 46
Peyton Manning: 46, 54, 40, 53
Kenny Britt: 56, 43, 64, 60

After the incredible rookie season that Cam Newton had last year, it's not surprising that rookies are being looked at in a whole new light this year. Here's a look at where the top rookies are going in our first four NFFC Draft Champions Leagues (one league is still going on):

Trent Richardson: 21, 27, 21, 24
Robert Griffin III: 72, 92, 97
Doug Martin: 79, 63, 59
Justin Blackmon: 94, 112, 98
Coby Fleener: 90, 153, 122
Andrew Luck: 126, 127, 130

Any thoughts on these picks?
One guy I don't see on this list is Best. Where did he go and where would you feel comfortable taking him?

Pat, in four recent NFFC DC drafts, Best went 6.14, 6.3, 7.1, 6.7. So we're talking between picks 73 and 85.

Wow that's great value if he plays 12-14 games. I'm worried the kid takes another shot to the head and has puddin' brains. What range would you think about taking him Greg?

I wouldn't take him. I mean the risk is just too great for me to take him in the Top 100. The number of concussions is too risky for me. I know about the upside, but I just don't trust Best enough to last even 12 games to gamble on him with one of my first 6 or 7 picks. Can't do it.

Here's another first round from a recent NFFC draft. The names are looking more and more familiar as folks are locking in the top 4 QBs into the first 10 picks:

1 1 Arian Foster RB
1 2 Aaron Rodgers QB
1 3 LeSean McCoy RB
1 4 Ray Rice RB
1 5 Calvin Johnson WR
1 6 Ryan Mathews RB
1 7 Tom Brady QB
1 8 Drew Brees QB
1 9 Matthew Stafford QB
1 10 Chris Johnson RB
1 11 Wes Welker WR
1 12 Jimmy Graham TE
1 13 Maurice Jones-Drew RB
1 14 Rob Gronkowski TE

That first round produced: 6 RBs, 4 QBs, 2 WRs, 2 TEs. This is the craziest first round I can ever remember in my 25+ years in fantasy football. Wild, but kinda fun!!

Thoughts?

The question then becomes : how crazy is the 2nd round?

Arian Foster is slowly emerging as our consensus No. 1 overall pick. In our first eight drafts he has now been selected first four times. Aaron Rodgers and Calvin Johnson have been picked first twice apiece.

It looks like everyone should be able to land a tier1 player in round 1. So perhaps the question is:
"Which tier2 position are you most comfortable drafting as early as round 2?"

One early potential list of tier2 players, in no particular order; yours may vary (as will mine as we get closer ;)):

QB: Newton, Romo, Rivers, Mannings... - these feel like reaches in rd2

RB: McFadden, Forte, Richardson, Lynch, Charles, SJax, Murray... - lots of questions: unproven, holdouts, injuries, wear and tear, etc.. Hit on one of these and you may have a very strong team around him; miss on your rd2 pick and you may have a gaping hole

TE: Gates, Witten, Hernandez, Davis, Finley... - some familiar names; definitely not necessary to draft as early as rd2 though

WR: White, Nicks, Welker, Andre, Jennings, Cruz, Green, Marshall, Colston... - mostly the usual crop, some with questions, but perhaps more likely to deliver on rd2 value than other positions? But in the new pass-heavy NFL, will they outperform the WRs who'll be available in rounds 3-5 by enough to warrant a rd2 pick?

Of course, along with this likely goes another question:
"Which position do you feel has the most options available AFTER round 2?".

I do see round 2 shaping up as very interesting this year, largely based on the two questions above. It's gonna be a challenge, but fun! 8-)

Mike, you forgot the two TEs who are going in the second round - Graham and Gronk. Include those two in the mix and things start to get real interesting late in the first and early in the second.

That's because I suspect they'll go late 1st round in many drafts. ;)
