Though you did mention that this draft was a "Draft Champions" and I'm sure most on this board know what that means, if you publish NFFC ADP data on any non-NFFC websites, I assume you'll explain what that means, as well as perhaps some of the draft nuances specific to this format?

For instance:

WR: - Because we don't set weekly lineups, it may be less necessary to have true WR1s. What they offer is consistency; and in DCs, that may be less needed because decent weekly production can be had from a combination of inconsistent, but sporadically productive WRs.

QB: - Because there is no waiver wire from which to acquire replacements, backup QBs tend to be drafted earlier.

Maybe some of the DC experts can chime in with some other well-known differences (at least the ones that don't really tip their hand on personal strategies)?

I don't like Mathews or MJD that early in the 1st round. Then again, my fantasy season sucked last year so what do I know?

This is going to be a wild year in Fantasy Football. One interesting observation I've made so far is that there is such a wide variety of opinions and strategies that many times people are getting roughly what they want in drafts because their competitors are going after other players due to different strategies. Then we get to watch it all play out...

I totally agree with you Paul. This year:

** Some folks will want no part of QBs in the first round. Other owners will be targeting one of the top 3-4 QBs.

** Some folks will want no part of a TE in the first round or early part of the second round. Other owners will be targeting Gronk or Graham as almost their WR1 from the TE position.

** Some folks will do all they can to get one of the top RBs. Others will stay away from that injury-prone spot and go WR-WR and maybe even WR-WR-WR.

** Some folks will stay away from the RBs coming back from injuries. Others will see them as values.

** Some folks will go after a top rookie RB like Trent Richardson or Doug Martin. Others have been burned there before and won't return to that fire.

Everyone has their thoughts and opinions this year and they vary. But that's what makes this upcoming season so interesting and fun.
