Other than a weakness at QB, I was pretty happy with my draft. My strategy to wait on QB really backfired, as I had planned to target Big Ben in the sixth, only to see him go the pick before me. I then thought I could wait one more round to snag Schaub and that didn't pan out either. I actually really like Freeman to have a bounce back year, especially with some of the new additions to that offense but obviously didn't envision him as my QB1.

Just like most of my teams, this isn't "sexy"...But I did exactly what I was shooting for. Only time will tell. YES, I did the double TE thing AGAIN. When I took Pettigrew, he was better than any WR on the board in my opinion. So TE or not, I took him as another receiving option.

My team was TeamCBDC. Actually Greg, there were a few problems in the draft but I think one drafter was new and he didn't understand how the room refreshes everytime you have to stop the draft. I had to leave in the last few rounds because of work on Sat morning so I lost out on an extra defense for the by week which infuriates me because we took so much time dealing with this one issue the entire draft. I could have drafted a few more rounds if it weren't for that one drafter who kept having problems, but he's new.

Cornhuskers, I think that your team is solid just don't like your running backs as much.

Sorry not a fan of this draft either.
Your QB and TE groups are really weak for this type of league and I don't think your RB stable is as strong as you obviously do. Obviously that means your WR are great - and they will need to be if your team is to contend.

One specific point was your not taking Roethlisberger (or whomever you liked the best at 5.12 when there were other teams who didn't already have a QB and you used the pick on a RB who had surgery, didn't participate in OTAs, and was told by his HC that he really "needed to bust his ars before camp to be in good shape".

Thanks for the honest feedback. I think if you show me any team in a 14-team format, I can pinpoint a weakness. Unfortunately, my biggest one happens to be at the QB position. You're probably right that I should have pulled the trigger on a QB in round 5 but I decided to go another direction and that ended up costing me a bit. In most weeks, I'm guessing my "flex" points are going to come from my WR group and I think that Beanie and BGE can be serviceable RB2's in this format. Maybe not consistently, but that's not always necessary in this format. I'm more concerned about QB than I am RB.
