Very interesting draft. Stafford at eight is the highest I've seen him. I love him this year but ahead of Brees may be a stretch. Dez Bryant mid second round and ahead of Fitz and Roddy, wow! Greg Jennings falling to the 3rd followed by a huge WR run in that round. I really enjoy seeing these results and all the different strategies applied.
Go Big Red!

Whoever is drafting from the 3 spot there must be a genius.

I believe this is the first draft in which LeSean McCoy went No. 1 overall. So far in these NFFC Draft Champions Leagues, the top pick has been either Arian Foster, Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson or now LeSean McCoy. I can't remember if Ray Rice has gone No. 1 overall or not, but I wouldn't doubt it. What a crazy year it's going to be in the NFFC.

I'm surprised Rice hasn't gone first yet. Using last year's stats with this year's scoring (full PPR for RBs), here would've been the points per game by the top 4 RBs:

1 23.5
2 23.2
3 22.0
4 19.1
Foster, Rice, McCoy, MJD

IMO, Rice will be the best of these this year, despite his dissatisfaction with his contract (I doubt he misses camp). Foster's defense lost Super Mario. That, along with a healthy Schaub and [hopefully] healthier Andre, could lead to less running than last year. McCoy probably won't score 20 TDs again with Vick and Maclin healthy and one of the tougher schedules. I think we saw MJD's ceiling last year and I think he knows it, hence his contract issue. Glabbert sucked last year, but with the addition of Blackmon and LRob, he'll probably get at least a LITTLE better.

Though I believe Rice will lead this group this year, I also think there's another RB who will be right behind him who isn't in this list... the newly-motivated, Chris Johnson! :D

I'm not sure why mjd doesn't get his deserved love. Last season at this time people were wondering whether or not he would even be ready to play or make it through the season and look at how he responded. There's no reason to think with an improved offense around him (it can't be any worse) that he can't improve on his numbers from last year. He's money and always brings it every game. He also recently said that he wants to beat emmit smith's all time rushing record. I don't care if he signs or not he's no chris johnson and will not report late and out of shape he'll be ready to go even in a worst case scenario. I'm just saying mjd surprised before and don't be surprised if he surprises even more again this year. 8-) .

If he reports on time, he'll still probably be a quality RB1. But I don't see him BEATING last year's numbers.
1) 1606 yards rushing was the most of his career and nearly 300 yards more than he's ever rushed. 343 carries is also 31 more than he's ever had.
2) Last year, JAC had NO WRs of any merit. This year, they signed Laurent Robinson and drafted Justin Blackmon.
3) Blaine Gabbert was terrible last year, but will likely be at least a little better this year with an off-season under his belt.

I just don't see them wanting to give MJD nearly 400 touches again.

My 2 cents.

break emmitt's record.

Maurice Jones-Drew believes he could catch Emmitt Smith as the NFL's all-time leading rusher.
"Yeah, I think it's doable," Jones-Drew said. "I definitely think it's doable." MJD is, of course, stumping for a new contract. His career 6,854 rushing yards are 11,501 behind Smith's 18,355. Jones-Drew rushed for a league-leading 1,606 yards in 2011, but wouldn't catch Smith even if he averaged that total for the next seven years. MJD would need a new pair of knees for that to happen.

mjd should be a solid rb1. top 5 ? we will see.
THIS IS THE BUSINESS WE HAVE CHOSEN

1) He's still young enough so why not room for improvement there? I can easily see it happening.
2) All the more reason mjd can be better. This takes some of the defensive attention away from mjd.
3) See above.

I do. :D

I think mjd is money. He plays the game hurt and with alot of pride and passion. Plus he's a fantasy guy so he knows that people out there "depend" on him. He strives to prove people wrong just like last year when he was hurt and people didn't believe. He also might have the biggest napoleon complex ever. He can play on my ff team anytime. 8-)
