So out of the 3 years, you had Top 9 QB percentages of 77, 66 & 66;
and Top 20 RB percentages of 60, 60, 65

And to you those numbers clearly prove that QB's are superior in Preseason vs Final Ranking?

60% to 66% is no where near a clear superiority, especially only over a 3 year study.

My point is that the top QB1s are more predictable than the top RB1s and WR1s.

If you are more comfortable waiting on QB and trying to get a mid-late round one who turns into a top-7 or top-8, then good luck. Personally, I feel it's much more likely that mid-late round RBs and WRs will end up in the top-10.

I agree, there will be more RB's and WR's drafted late that finish at the top, we've already established that...the issue is I think it's much easier to identify those QB's in the middle of the draft, that it is hitting on the RB's and WR's.

Especially when platooning a mid-tier starting QB with a solid backup can give you better stats than just riding the mid-tier starter the whole way -- there's a lot of very good schedule combos with Eli, Romo, Rivers, Ryan, Peyton, or even Griffin as your #1, but you are never gonna use your backup when you take a top 5 QB (except on bye, or in case of an injury, in which case your team is pretty much toast without the big QB that you are banking on).

I'm sure I'm just as confident in my skills to locate mid-round RB's and WR's as you are; but in my opinion, hitting on them is much harder than getting solid starter quality production with top 7 upside out of that mid-tier of QB's. Only 5 people can get the top 5 QB's, if it was a Magic Bullet to winning, they'd be the top 5 picks in every draft.
