Early Season NFFC Draft Results

I like my team, but then again, I almost always do... First 3 for me were McCoy, Stafford, Steve Smith. Can't say much else here. Too many trade sectets.

1 more quick one, who'd the Calvin/Brees guy get in the 3rd/4th?

FYI - 'Calvin/Brees guy' went on to draft (3-9) Dez, Marshawn, VJackson, CJSpiller, DWilson. GLittle, MBush.

That is a GREAT start! Love to know what late TE he took? Is it a hole or a great late upside flier?

Jacquizz Rodgers, Kevin Smith & David Wilson went in the 7th rd
I'm the one guilty of taking Wilson. The way this thing was going I figured I better grab this years version of Demarco Murray now!

Cobb, Wright & Emmanuel Sanders in RD 9

If given the opportunity, get in on one of these short notice drafts.
You never know what you might end up with!

But down side to that is you don't know your draft pick til last min...though one

Draft spots were announced at 4:15. Draft was at 7PM. Not too bad at all actually. If you have done 1 or more of these you find each one to be completely different. Toss out ADP. Get the players you want when it is your turn or trust me, someone else will take them before it gets back to you. I love them. If money was not an object I would do one or more a day.

Every draft this year is so incredibly different that opinions of who got the best bargains mean nothing. Everyone has different opinions of how to construct a winning team this year and which players they should avoid and which ones are the ones to get. From what I can tell, everyone has a different way of building a winning team this year and sometimes that includes RB-RB, sometimes it starts with WR-WR and other times it's QB-TE. It's crazy this year.

And really, I don't think it matters when folks get their draft spots. It's not like someone gets the 5th spot four hours ahead of their draft and they're totally confused on who to pick. People spending $350 to join a contest should have an idea on who they want. They just don't have to construct that winning team the way you would.

Last night's draft was another one that looks NOTHING like anything else I've seen so far. When you sit in dozens and dozens of these drafts and see each one start out differently, you know it's going to be a fun year. No draft is ever the same and honestly since the Richardson and Mathews injuries, it has just thrown everything into chaos. The back-end of the first round is really getting interesting now.
