Greatest Preseason Players in History

Post by wayne123 » Sun Aug 12, 2007 5:57 pm

Today I watched St. Pierre lead the Steelers on yet another failed 4th quarter drive in the preseason. During this self-imposed torment, my mind was wondering between the unreality of preseason football and the obvious fallacy of light moving at a constant speed when clearly violet has to travel faster than red in order to keep up, when a strange and somewhat unwelcomed thought entered my mind...

Who is the greatest preseason football player of all time? Ideally, this guy leads the league in career preseason TDs, but has never played a regular season snap. So, the criteria is best career preseason stats and worsed career regular season stats combined. So, who is MR. PRESEASON???

Comments. Opinions.

Thanks for your help! We will save solving the error in the universal constant for another time.

Cheers!

Chuck Walters, RB Buffalo Bills circa 1974.

(Just kidding...100% invented.)

Now...let's fire up the peace pipe and tackle this speeding colors problem!

Horace Mangrove is still seeking an injunction to allow him to compete in the NFL prior to age 20 and without completing two years of college. The last I heard he was 7' 10", 495 lbs and growing by about 1/4 inch and 5 pounds per month. His life expectancy is less than 10 years based on his rate of growth. I would say he is worth a chance in the last round, just in case. BTW, his 40 time is still sub 4.5!

Donald Driver every year, until those mental midgets up in GB finally realized maybe we should keep this guy on the active roster.

At the Metrodome in 1997 (I think), Rookie Eddie
Kennison scored 4 TD'S against the Vikes. Of
course he went on to disappoint fantasy owners
until Vermeil rescued him.
