CANCELLED: June 25 $150 Satellite League

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Jun 06, 2013 8:58 am

I know that we are filling up a lot of $150 Draft Champions Leagues and we think that trend is going to continue going forward, but I heard from a couple of NFFC owners recently that they are ready for an NFFC Satellite league draft as well. They are ready for 12 teams, 20 rounds that include in-season roster moves. And as I look at our schedule of events, we don't have any of those planned before August 1st. Is that too late to begin?

I'm all for creating a night of the week in June and July to host a 12-team (heck, even a 14-team) league if there's enough demand to do it. I'm looking for feedback on an ideal night of the week and then we'll see what kind of demand is out there. Would a Tuesday or a Thursday night at 8 pm ET work? These will definitely conclude in less than 3 hours, so we could even go later for the West Coast folks if needed. But let me know what you think and we'll create one soon to see if there's enough demand for a $150 12-Team Satellite League soon. Sound good?

Every year it seems like our drafting season starts earlier and earlier. We've scratched that itch with the NFBC and NFFC Draft Champions Leagues, but maybe we need Satellite Leagues to appear sooner, too. If that's what you want, that's what we'll deliver. Just say the word and we'll get it done. Thanks all.

Here's the type of league I'm talking about:

Awesome. Someone suggest a day of the week and again we'll try to do this on a regular basis in June and July so that folks can plan accordingly each week. Let's do it.

What day works best for everyone??

Depending on the date, I would probably partake in a draft of this magnitude. ;)

or next week even at like 9 pm or something(how late does little league go??) This draft has to be 2 hours max right?
