Can someone tell me why Rex Ryan had Mark Sanchez in a meaningless preseason game last night with 11+ minutes to go in the 4th quarter? He was in there just long enough to get smashed to the ground and hurt his shoulder. Geno Smith isn't ready to play. Sanchez actually looked pretty decent in the preseason and could have been headed for a rebound season. It's almost like Rex wants to get fired or something.

Rex Ryan is a damn moron; I am surprised he hasn't been fired yet. With a n ego as big as he has I am surprised his head hasn't exploded already. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!

The rumor is that the new Jets GM, John Idzik, was hired with the understanding that Rex COULDN'T be fired in 2013.

Now, January 2014 is a different story...maybe KoQ can clarify whether there's truth in this.

i think rex put him in there in hope he would throw a pick or two so he could go back to geno. going to be a long year.
