Vereen Out
KFFL just sent an email stating Vereen borke something in his wrist or hand and will miss a couple of weeks. That blows. I have Ridley nowhere and Vereen on several teams. Loved the fumble and Vereen taking over for one game at least... Anyone else hear this??

Re: Vereen Out
I heard same thing from Rotoworld. It's good thing for me though I have Ridley and I don't have Vereen. Yesterday was scary for me this morning a little more relief.

...had a great day yesterday everywhere....unfortunately have Vereen in EVERY league I have..........
He actually played the whole game with the wrist injury and did great. Why ruin it and fix it?

Re: Vereen Out
I heard week 8. Not that it matters. Really, now I am stuck using Lamar Miller....
Re: Vereen Out
A name to watch could be Josh Boyce. The most dynamic player they have on that roster. Poor Leon Washington is washed up (no pun intended) Amendola could very well miss Thursday night's game as well. Julian Edelman is nothing special. If he were, the Pats wouldn't have gone out and got Amendola.
The Jets have got to be positively giddy about their chances of going 2-0 Thursday night. Who'da thunk it? I feel ya pain on Miller, Pete. He's only on one of my teams. But right now, that's looking like one too many.
If Miami's smart (and the jury is still definitely out on that one) they'll turn Miller into Sproles and let Daniel Thomas be Mark Ingram. Which is a perfect comparison, since both average about 2.5 YPC.

Its official Vereen out till week 11.
Re: Vereen Out
Maybe he was special enough to be playing AHEAD of Welker early last season, and special enough that they let Welker walk?dabird777 wrote:Julian Edelman is nothing special. If he were, the Pats wouldn't have gone out and got Amendola.

I definitely wished I had Edelman more places. He is last Man standing now. 85 catches might be his floor!!
