Who Is Going To Win The Super Bowl?
Place your votes above and let's see who you think wins it all. I could only put 10 options, so I lumped the last three together. Sorry about that. Thanks all.

I actually like the Packers.
I think getting Rodgers and Cobb back plus a great running game gives them a boost at the right time.
I think they can beat San Fran at home and I think they would win in Carolina. That would probably leave a revenge game in Seattle...and obviously a cold weather Superbowl wouldn't faze them.
I'll take the Packers over the Broncos in New York.

That's bold. I'm guessing you haven't seen the Green Bay defense this season.mattjb wrote:I actually like the Packers.

Packers.
Big defense doesn't scare me. Big offense does.
Kap in his career has beaten us twice, however never in our house. He might have been born in the state of Wisconsin, but Kap has never played a pro game in 10 degree weather. The only game he has played in cold weather was last year in NE but I don't think he has seen what it's like to play in the Frozen Tundra.
We can go to Carolina and Seattle and beat those teams. Their offenses are not that scary. The only place where the Packers can't win with this D is Louisiana Superdome, and we know we are not going there this year.

It's interesting that Las Vegas sportsbooks have the 5th seeded San Francisco 49ers as the third-best bet to win the Super Bowl. Maybe this will help a bit with your post-season lineup moves.

Re: Who Is Going To Win The Super Bowl?
Not buying the Green Bay hype. They played two teams with good defenses before Rodgers went down and lost both. You can't just go into the playoffs and outscore everyone 45-52. You might get by San Fran but the odds of getting by San Fran and then Seattle are slim.
I do think San Fran winds up winning it all - all the pieces are back and they've been there before. I can't trust Seattle just yet and I won't trust Manning vs a top defense in January weather.

Re: Who Is Going To Win The Super Bowl?
Agreed. I just can't see the Packers going very far with such a horrible defense. Plus, the Seahawks and Panthers both play terrific defense so if they do get by SF the strength Green Bay has offensively will be put to a severe test by good defenses. Meanwhile, the opposing offenses won't need to be great to feast on a pathetic defense.Coach JP wrote:Not buying the Green Bay hype. Re: Who Is Going To Win The Super Bowl?
Not to mention all three potential QB's (Kaep/Cam/Wilson) that they could face are excellent at avoiding the pass rush and extending plays. If it was a stationary QB on a good defensive team (Cincy), I'd like their chances a little more.
It's going to be fun either way!!
