The Latest Draft Clown
The Latest Draft Clown
Here is one owner's first 8 picks in the Cutline draft tonight:
A Peterson - RB
P Manning - QB
A Rodgers - QB
A Foster - RB
W Welker - WR
M Stafford - QB
Z Ertz - TE
N Foles - QB
Talking trash the entire time - Actually rather humorous.... I am wondering if he has done this in other drafts.

Pretty solid, could probably use another tight-end and maybe another QB just to be safe... You got the clown part right

Amazing!!! Even if this was a DC. He was talking trash on top is too awesome. He broke rule number 1 which is read the rules. That's a special kind of special there.
Re: The Latest Draft Clown
Well he shouldn't have problems at qb. You would think he'd value 125 more. And when ppl do crap like this it hurts other people's shot at the 100 grand.

Alan, please try and remember to post during or after the season here and show how this team did. I really am curious to see if it turns out as bad as it looks. It looks like someone was drinking or smoking when rolling through this draft, but they did out their money up, so I'd be interested to make fun of, I mean analyze this team once the season unfolded.

Please explain how this hurts anyone's chances for $100K...THEICON wrote:Well he shouldn't have problems at qb. You would think he'd value 125 more. And when ppl do crap like this it hurts other people's shot at the 100 grand.

I would imagine he means others teams in this same league, the hording of QB's means a couple teams will be pretty weak at QB and not have any real chance of winning.

or more importantly, the few teams that are OK at qb and are strong(er than usual) everywhere else because of this fool.
Re: The Latest Draft Clown
I don't think it hurt anyones chances of winning the $100K, other than the fool himself. Its a 10 team league. No one had a problem getting a QB. For me, I grabbed a QB and backup QB sooner than I typically would (Matt Ryan in the 7th round, Russell Wilson in the 12th), and all of the teams had plenty of QBs to choose from. The weakest combo of QBs I saw was Big Ben/Bradford.BigBlueNation wrote:Please explain how this hurts anyone's chances for $100K...THEICON wrote:Well he shouldn't have problems at qb. There was also a team that took 5 straight WRs from the start of the draft and 7 out of his first 9 picks were WRs. Strange draft. The oddest thing about the guy who took the 4 QBs was, he had the 5th pick and AP fell to him, which I thought was a pretty good value, then he took Peyton in the 2nd round and I thought he was off to a good start. Then he did what he did.
I actually like my team a lot. But, then again, he probably likes his team too...
