Looks like he plead guilty today. Probably means an extra 2 games, meaning no play until Week 14.

Gordon was told he wouldn't get the two additional games as part of the new policy. That's probably why he pled guilty this week. No additional punishment forthcoming.

Just curious. So now that Gordon will be out for a long time, but is eventually expected back...how do those that bid $990 or higher feel about their bids?

I will answer that.

Based on the information available at that time, I wouldn't change a thing. It's easy to look in the mirror but if I had a chance at a first round talent available to me on the WW then I would bid in a huge way every time. I look at this as if I made the right decision even though I knew there was huge risk. Some folks dont' like risk and I completely get that. I don't mind risk. In my mind I absolutely made the right call. It wasn't like I didn't know that this was a possibility.

Just a bump on this. As a person who bit on Gordon (I was cheap and only spent half my money but there were 58 of us inthe Online Championship and the average winning bid was $828), I thought I would look and see who, despite bein short money, was still doing well. Just those in the top 100 (oveall place after week 8 and amount spent on Gordon):

Lg.10294 TC's Trillest OLC 10294 2nd $777
Lg.10353 Fupa Troopa's 40th $700
Lg.9944 Donkey Punchers 41st $808
Lg.10257 Team Zehner 59th $991

Not bad. The other 54 of us are between 146th and 2,118th.

I bid 996 on Gordon in the super... 2nd in points at the moment and have a 116 point buffer for a playoff spot. Don't regret it at all.. 3 more weeks without!

Nice. Good to have a budget.

Just goes to prove, sometimes all-in is the right move.

Good luck!
