Draft Peterson at your own risk.
To borrow a line from 'The Grinch Who Stole Christmas'....
I wouldn't touch him with a 39 1/2 foot pole.

Plenty of talent on this board to bother with a bum like Peterson who will have a new home, a new system and will NEVER put up numbers like he did in the past.

Merry Christmas.

Seattle would be a very interesting place for him to wind up.

I'd like to see my Bill's get RG3 and AP in the offseason. Sounds like they will come at a discount. They both have a lot of football left in them esp. Griffin of course. Peterson is all time great don't forget that. Bill's just need some better coaching.

Peterson, Murray and Spiller.... all interesting where will they end up cases. If Demarco leaves Dallas id put him at bottom of that first round running back list.

Very interesting to see trends change year to year.

Gronk should've been on the list. That was a mistake on our part. I think he'll replace Graham as the first-round TE in 2015. I wouldn't expect Graham to fall too far. He's still an elite player with a great QB. Graham could end up being a very nice value pick next year if people let him fall too far.

I believe Bell is a clear cut #1. If I have the 2 pick and Murray is still on the Cowboys, I will take him there ahead of Charles. I think there will be a lot of WRs taken in the late 1st round that we are not expecting such as Hilton and Beckham.

The Bills are built to win now. Why would you want a project QB?

Tom and I started the conversation last night on our STATS Fantasy Advantage as the two of us had a first round mock draft. Here's how we saw the first round for 2015:

1. Jamaal Charles 18.9 ppg in NFFC
2. Le’Veon Bell 23.9 ppg in NFFC
3. Matt Forte 23 ppg in NFFC
4. DeMarco Murray 23.2 ppg in NFFC
5. Eddie Lacy 17.2 ppg in NFFC (topped 20 in 6 of last 9 and topped 26 in 3 of last 4)
6. Demaryius Thomas 21.4 ppg in NFFC
7. Calvin Johnson 18.1 ppg in NFFC
8. Jordy Nelson 21.2 ppg in NFFC
9. Antonio Brown 24.3 ppg in NFFC (No. 1 WR in PPR this year)
10. Adrian Peterson (still a great player, just needs a new home)
11. Julio Jones 20.8 ppg in NFFC
12. Aaron Rodgers 32 ppg in NFFC (Luck at 34, Peyton at 30)
Others to consider – Arian Foster, Peyton, Luck, A.J. Green, Dez Bryant

Any thoughts on this? Of course, I gave Tom the first pick (doesn't he always get the first pick? ), so he took the odd-numbered picks and I took the even-numbered picks. Was a fun exercise. What's your thoughts on the first round of 2015? Inquiring minds want to know.
I would take Odell Beckham Jr easily over Peterson...I can already see bunch of ppl taking Beckham near end of 1st rd..especially at the New York drafts. Only question will be is how will victor cruz return affect OBJ?

Personally, all of your Packers are a little early for me...I don't say this because they're Packers and you guys are from Wisc. I think Lacy is a little early, I like Calvin, DT, Dez, AJ, ABrown, Julio and Beckham better, which puts all of them in front of Jordy, and I don't see a QB in the 1st round. Using your top 12, no way I'm taking Rodgers at 1.12, when I can take Dez and AJ or Beckham at the turn.

Beckham Jr is making an extremely strong case for late first round consideration. His numbers through just 10 games played are great and if you project those as playing all 14 games so far, he'd be sitting at 99/1360/13. Maybe his targets decrease a bit if a healthy Cruz returns but the guy is a matchup nightmare and catches everything in his vicinity.

Heading into this year most had Calvin as still the overall best WR in the game. However, that gap was closing with the likes of DT, Julio, etc and I see that gap continuing to close as Calvin is having more and more difficulty staying healthy. It will be very interesting to see how the WR's come off the board, especially after the season AB is having.
