It was an interesting auction. I'm okay with my first 20 with good players at every position. For what ever reason, I had to keep reminding myself it was a DC league. I went into this with no specific strategy. Just need to add depth in the slow part.

I'm happy with the team. I went in planning to spend on 2 of my top 6 stud WR, and got my top 2 WR guys..... I didn't target Jimmy Graham, but I thought $22 or whatever I paid for him was too cheap to let him go. That meant my #3 WR came from Dollar Tree Store, but I'm ok with Kendall Wright. Maybe Marriota is an upgrade at QB and he has a bounce-back year.

Were there any $1 kickers? It seems every K went for $2 or $3 minimum, so looking back it seems getting both of mine for $3 was a good deal.

FYI, I will be in poor cell reception on Friday, but I will do my best to keep up.

I wanted to apologize to the guys in the draft for the delay because of my internet issues. I have averaged 150+ drafts a year the last few years and never had an issue, but there is always a first time for everything Plus Andy is not going to let me live it down. Every time I talk to him now he asks if my internet is OK But seriously I do appreciate you Andy helping me out and being on the phone with me as I worked through it.

I plan on doing a write-up on ScoutPRO about the draft and going over strategy in Auctions and team construction. I will post the draft board for subscribers only, but I will not post team names or owner if everyone is OK with that. Here is my disaster of a team.....

SLOW DRAFT PORTION HAS STARTED......its got team 12 edelman leading off the slow draft....thats reversed from what i told ya before....I'll check with Tom for how we can prevent that in future DC's.........but we gotta roll with it this time.

Edit: Tom is trying to fix the draft order to the specs we gave....its temporarily paused til that can be sorted out.
