3-City DC draft?

Okay, Chad Schroeder is tentatively back, but he needs to double-check his schedule first. If Scott Atkins returns then the Midwest team will be set and it looks like the West team could be set (if KJ returns). That would give Billy free access to recruit for his East team!!! This could get interesting.

I saw Scott in New York City a couple of weeks ago and he said he probably would return for the 3-City DC. I'll email him again to make sure. But we're getting closer here. Check out the current signup list:

Bill and Jules both can't make it this year, so if we move forward we're looking for some new participants. Scott Atkins has a wedding that weekend, but is checking his schedule and Chad is also double-checking his schedule. So the Midwest team could add Rob and still be very solid, but we need some recruiting for the East squad.

I'm wondering if the price point is turning people away? I've talked to a few people that don't want to spend $1000 in a DC.

We can do whatever you guys want and change the team prize if needed, but sure we can do it lower if needed. This is a private league, so I'm up for whatever you folks want. The concept is cool and the team competition was a lot of fun last year. Just let us know and we'll make it work.

We wouldn't have any additional prizes for the team portion, outside of bragging rights, but it still would be a lot of fun. I'm fine with any price point, but if it's not meant to be this year then it's not meant to be. No worries either way, but this is one final option.

This may be the best way to go. It's all about the trash talking anyhow......although winning the money was nice.

Im totally up for this. I know I can have the EAST assembled by this evening if this is the case.

Just a thought......if we made it $250 entry, could we keep it in the $150 National championship (with those prizes $800/$300/$100), and then take the extra $100 for each person and put that towards (4) OL leagues next year for the winning team???

Certainly. We'd charge $150 per person and hold the rest on the side, with us making up the difference. I'll do that and manually post the team scores each week like I did last year.
