That's a pretty damn good start in my opinion.

I agree with the above and will add like a few others have, that I am on PST, I can barely get home for a 9pm EST draft and 8pm EST is completely out.Fourslot40 wrote:It's really a simple answer - comes down to schedule and knowing the options exist.
I'm not sure how many 9am-5pm guys are out there, but I'm not one of them. Some folks have active family lives on top of that. I can't tell if a Tuesday two weeks from now would work for me, but I know that a draft will exist when I do know. I prefer to wait until I know that I can focus and enjoy a draft which is usually within 24 hours of the draft.

I don't need to see who is in a league, but I do like to see how many have signed up for a league. I just took a look at the Cutline page under the CONTESTS header. It might help if the actual available dates were pinned to the top, I had to scroll through a bunch of closed leagues and at first I thought I was out of luck until my eye keyed in on the dates. It would also be nice if there was a 6 of 12 listing on there, so we could see if it is close to filling. I'm sure some people don't even visit the message board and personally I don't like having to wade through the message board to find the status of a particular draft. The last is slightly off-topic
To answer your question further, yes, they are here to stay....lots of folks into DFS and that is often a last minute look at the draft lobby and then entry. Mentalities have changed.

These are both real good suggestions Jules and we will pass them along to our tech team. We do have this information on our Countdown pages but I agree the more places we show what's available and how many spots are left the better it is. And I agree that once we close a league off it should be removed from the Contest page. Good suggestions. Thanks.RedRyder wrote:I just took a look at the Cutline page under the CONTESTS header. Re: Are Last Minute Signups Here To Stay?
For week nights, its hard for me to know what time I will be done with work and free to draft until about noonish west coast time. The 7pm and 8pm EST leagues are hard to get into unless I'm off and available that day. But, if I get done early with work and have time, its nice to slide into one of those leagues.
I wish it was possible to set KDS on a mobile phone, because if I'm out and about and I sign up last minute, I can't set KDS on a mobile phone.
I don't even bother to look at the forum list of who is already in the league. I just go to signup link and see what leagues are open and pick one that works for me.

Yup, we definitely need to incorporate all of our features more completely on our App and on cell phones etc. No doubt about that.
