Date And Time For 2016 14-Team Super Auction

I wanted to start this discussion early before next season and I'm looking for your feedback. Thanks.

One of the most competitive leagues we have in the NFFC is the 14-Team Super Auction League. It's a league we added late a few years ago and thus it wasn't given a prime time slot because our three days over Second Weekend were already very full. Last year we actually shoehorned this auction in after the Thursday Night Game, which wasn't ideal but everyone made it work.

So as I'm getting ready to start working on the 2016 NFFC web site, I'm asking for a day and time that would work best for the 14-Team Super Auction. I don't know what day and time that is, but you tell me and we'll see what we can do. Sound good?

My suggestion is Friday night at the 6 or 7 time slot. It seems to me that most of the auction players are not main event players at that time.

I would VERY, VERY much like it to not be following the Thursday game. I'd also prefer it to be before that game personally but as long as it isn't that night after the game sign me up.

Yea Greg, after Thur night game doing an auction is exhausting.. it would have to be Wed Night or Friday whatever time.

While it would be ideal to draft this league before the first game of the season, it seems hard to achieve this with
the only option being Thursday morning. Personally, I had no issue with the Thursday 9am start and would list this as
my first choice.

I didn't like having this AFTER the first game as it seemed to make for a very long day, don;t think I'd want to handle
this format if left in the same spot as this season. No problems at all with a Friday start with a set starting time, this
would be my second choice because the "cheat game" factor then comes into play.

Yeah, Thursday Night wasn't ideal but it saved the day in 2015. Everyone adjusted and made it work.

I think there are four possible options:
a) Friday at 6 pm
b) Thursday at 9 or 10 am
c) Thursday after the game
d) Wednesday night

Once you get into Saturday it gets very busy in Las Vegas. Even Friday night is busy for some folks. I'm open to any and all suggestions. Let's get it on the schedule early at an ideal time and fill this up once again. This really is one of the most competitive leagues we offer in football and I'd love to keep it going. Thanks.
