9 NFFC Classic League Titles Won After Week 13

The NFFC Classic regular season is now complete, but that doesn't mean that every league has determined their champion yet. In fact, almost half of our Classic leagues still have league titles up for grabs.

Through Week 13, 9 of the 19 leagues (47.4%) had determined their league champions. Those 9 teams won their points race and had the best h2h record to win the entire $7,000 league prize. Those Classic league champions include:

Derek Anderson
Jared Danielsen
Brian Owens
Dan Worthington
Michael Foresta
Michael Edelman
Brad Szczepinski
Larry Schechter

It's never easy to win a 14-team Classic league title, so congrats to all of you. Part of your job is done. Now you have to go and beat 62 other teams for the $80,000 Classic grand prize. Good luck to all of you in Weeks 14-16.

But nine league titles are up for grabs. In those leagues, one team has won the h2h title and another team has won the points title. Those two teams each won $3,000 for their efforts and they will compete in Weeks 14-16 for the remaining $4,000 league prize. Total points in Weeks 14-16 wins that league title. Good luck all.

Before looking at each league, here are some interesting tidbits about the Classic this year:

* 9 of 19 leagues (47.4%) had teams owning best h2h record and most points after the regular season. Other h2h champions who don't have the most points are either 2nd in points (3 teams), 3rd in points (2 teams), 5th (3 teams) or 6th (2 teams).

* 7 of 19 leagues had ties for best h2h record. All 7 leagues had two-team ties; none more than that.

Here's a look at each league, with h2h champions' ranks in league points and either league champ or league finalists:

New York Sept. 3, League 1: 11-2, 1 game lead; 6th in points (Erik Sudigala & Glenn Lowy)
New York Sept. 3, League 2: 2 teams tied at 9-4, 5th in points (James Loveless & David Martino)
Online Aug. 28: 10-3, 1 game lead, 1st in points (Brian Owens is league champ)
Online Aug. 29: 2 teams tied at 10-3, 2nd in points (Chad Schroeder and Donnie Braud)
Online Aug. 30: 10-3, 1 game lead, 6th in points (Brian Owens & Jeremy Jurewicz)
Online Aug. 31: 2 teams tied at 9-4, 1st in points (Dan Worthington is league champ)
Online Sept. 1: 10-3, one game lead, 1st in points (Michael Foresta is league champ)
Online Sept. 10: 2 teams tied at 9-4, 1st in points (Michael Edelman is league champ)
Online Sept. 5: 2 teams tied at 10-3, 1st in points (Brad Szczepinski is league champ)
Online Sept. 6: 9-4, 1 game lead, 2nd in points (Matthew Bredin & Jared Danielsen)
Online Sept. 7: 2 teams tied at 11-2, 1st in points; (Larry Schechter is league champ)
Online Sept. 9 3 pm: 11-2, 2 game lead, 3rd in points; (Eddie Gillis & Will Tyrer)
Online Sept. 9 9 pm: 10-3, 1 game lead, 2nd in points (Larry Bagiardi & Ken Ford)

Did I miss something in that Sept 6th online league? I have the most points in that league. It should be Matthew Bredin and I battling it out for the title right?

This is now corrected. Sorry about that. Matthew won h2h and you won total points, so best of luck to both of you in the 3-week playoff for the league title.
