Glenn Lowy Wins Platinum League & $150,000

Congrats to Glenn Lowy of Farmingville, New York as he won the NFFC Platinum League title in impressive fashion. Lowy won a total of $150,000 in this league as he won most points during the regular season ($20,000) and won the Championship Round for another $130,000. Great job Glenn and congrats!!

Glenn beat Larry Schechter by 28.27 points to win the title. Larry won $40,000 for second place and Joe Jefferson won $15,000 for third place. Brian Owens finished fourth in the Championship Round, but he also won $20,000 during the regular season for best h2h record. Winning the Consolation Round and $5,000 was the tag team of David Hubbard and Nelson Sousa.

Lowy entered the Championship Round with a weekly scoring average of 150.34 and he then posted scores of 177.4, 119.9 and 162.85 for a winning total of 610.49. Here's a look at the final standings:

Thanks Guys. Crazy tough league filled with great players all putting serious dough on the line. There's little like walking into this draft room and staring across the table at some of these fantasy superstars after risking $20K for the privilege of testing yourself against them. I feel very fortunate this season to have passed the test.
