Re: The WHAT THE HELL Greg & Tom Q&A!!
you should have the draft in NJ.. cheaper, can do it in AC or even near NYC. just easier on everyone. if everyone wants to hit the City after they can.. it's so close..
Bring it on .

Bring your live drafts back down to $650 entries where they used to be, and I will hold the drafts in my backyard.

Atlantic City is definitely an idea. But if it's in New York it's got to be the city.

We have tried Atlantic City before. We've tried Mahwah, New Jersey. We were at Citi Field for a couple of years in baseball. It's not easy on the East Coast, which is why we are the only high-stakes contest to still host live drafts in this area. It's not cheap, either.BLACKHAND wrote:Atlantic City is definitely an idea. When we started hosting live events in New York City in 2004, hotels were happy to have any convention coming back to the Big Apple. Prices were lower and availability was high. Through the years we've continued to expect higher prices, but the last two years has made it tough for these to be anything but a break-even proposition. So we're trying to do more with that draft weekend.
Our full idea for this likely won't be realized this year, but we have found a way to stay in New York City and host live drafts in Manhattan. We will be doing that and we are ready to sign the contract. Enjoy all and Tom will officially announce this on Tuesday when he gets back. I'll let him do the announcement, but it's final.
