Great job by everyone last night and kudos to RT Sports for excellent auction software. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try an online auction. I love the new way to bid +$1 the way they have it now. Really good.

It was also fun to participate in an auction with no ADVs or previous auction results. We were all establishing values on our own. Really a lot of fun for 3+ hours.

I went in hoping to load up on WRs and looking for bargain RBs. I actually sat back for awhile as others bid up the early stars and had the most money before the first break to grab some guys I liked. After a mid-auction spending spree, I hope I have enough depth to contend. Here's my team:

The Commish
QB - Derek Carr $7
QB - Andy Dalton $5

RB - Leonard Fournette $23
RB - Marshawn Lynch $19
RB - Paul Perkins $9
RB - Gio Bernard $3
RB - Jamaal Charles $2
RB - Jamaal Williams $2
RB - Dion Lewis $1

WR - Julio Jones $46
WR - DeAndre Hopkins $30
WR - Martavis Bryant $16
WR - Jordan Matthews $11
WR - Tyler Lockett $3
WR - Marquise Lee $2
WR - Breshad Perriman $2

TE - Martellus Bennett $12
TE - Evan Engram $2

K - Matt Bryant $3
D - Seattle $2

eifert at 8 if healthy will be a steal
I see big things for ted ginn with brees at qb too...so 4 bucks for him I thought was definitely worth it

You will be smiling end of year with Carr for 7 bucks.
Martavius could be steal of draft at 16 bucks if he can stay on the field
I wanted Martellus bad, but was stuck in a bidding war with you and tom that I didn't think I could win.
paul perkins at 9 could surprise and be a viable flex for you.

So here are my thoughts. I'm generally happy with this team. Missed on a few players I really wanted which is always the case in an auction. I'm not overjoyed about Dak at QB but I'll take it. I thought the top options would go cheap like they had the last two years but several went $10 or more which I didn't anticipate so I missed out on the ones I really wanted.

I would've preferred to get a standout WR2 to pair with Dez (really wanted Demaryius Thomas) but I like three strong WR3s who all carry strong WR2 upside - especially Edelman who is ridiculously undervalued this year. If Thielen is legit my WR production should be terrific. VERY happy with my Top 3 RBs. That went exactly the way I hoped with a stud RB1, Montgomery as my RB2 and Riddick as PPR Gold as my RB3. Eifert is talented but a major durability risk so we'll see.

Overall, I think this is a solid team. Gonna need another big year from Dak to contend I think. Lotta fun last night and thanks to Andy for running it smoothly.

Here's my team. Not feeling great about it, no wow factor. I orginally wanted Johnson or Bell, but didn't want to spend $55 or more to get them. Then for some unexplainable reason I didn't pull the trigger on a top tier WR like I should have and ended up with too much money in the middle of the draft. I quickly went on a spending spree on the players that were left. Ended up with too much depth and not enough quality. I have one too many RB. Could have taken the $16 for Ingram and $21 for Fitz and a couple bucks more and gotten a top WR. I would like this team better in a DC :) This feels like a middle of the pack team.

QB - Brees 17
QB - Rivers 4

RB - L.Miller 23
RB - Ingram 16
RB - D.Cook 12
RB - Lacy 8
RB - Duke Johnson 6
RB - Kelly 2
RB - Vereen 2

WR - A.Robinson 27
WR - Fitzgerald 21
WR - T.Hill 21
WR - K.Benjamin 14
WR - Enunwa 7
WR - M.Jones 4
WR - R.Anderson 2

TE - Ertz 9
TE - Njoku 2

K - Crosby 2

D - New England 1

qb went so cheap you coulda gone 10 dollars cheaper for a guy to mix and match with rivers(who I loved at 4)
you were the opposite of me...you are stacked at rb....but little light on WR most likely at least in top tier quality. I think I agree with you that this is a better DC team than a faab team

I agree on QB. After the first four, most went 2 or 3 dollars cheaper than I expected. My main problem is one too many RB. Shouldn't have taken Cook after I got Ingram, but I like Cook's upside so much more that I couldn't pass on him at $12. By then all of the top tier WR were gone anyway and I knew I was dealing with a depth team and not so much high quality starters.
