If we went with a 12-team $750 DC that would enable us to keep the prizes we have in place for the Throwback:

1 $4,300
2 $2,150
3 $750

We'd need someone to run that like KJ does. I'd also like to do something easy this time around. I'm not saying no, just saying that I think if we go with a DC-type league a regular 12-teamer might be more appealing. But again, if 12 people want to do something and will commit to it we'll go with what you guys want to do.

something dc, auction, live dc or gridiron I would think makes the most sense because the whole weekend up until then is faab.......and people if they are going to do a draft at this point probably want to do something different

Yeah I'm leaning toward a live DC. Personally, I like the idea of a Live OC since they were a lot of fun to do in Vegas for baseball but if folks aren't into that we'll go with a live DC. That definitely will work.

the question is do you do a 400 live dc and make it part of overall or a satellite league with different payouts/price

We can't do a DC that's part of the overall unless it's 35 rounds. My assumption is people wouldn't want to do a 35-round draft. But if that's what people want we can make that happen. Otherwise, a live DC is its own league at 26 rounds.

I would definitely do a live D.C. if it was 35 rounds and tied to the overall

Kickoff Gridiron sure sounds like fun in New York City. DC, Auction, 100 percent payout on the side prizes. Doesn't have to be $1,000/$500; set whatever prize pool you want.

A $400 DC tied to the overall contest could be doable if 12 owners want to do 35 rounds. With the right group you could still finish in 3 hours. Just my thoughts from the outside.
