Some of the greatest backs in NFL history have worn No. 32, but the best of the best is Cleveland's Jim Brown. He would be a BEAST in today's game!! Jim Brown retired from the NFL and moved to Hollywood where we all remember him from the Dirty Dozen, but he appeared in dozens and dozens of movies and TV shows. Here's another TD -- Terrell Davis -- who earned a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame after he carried the Broncos to two Super Bowl titles. He led the NFL in rushing in 1998 with 2,008 yards and 21 rushing TDs, his fourth straight 1,000-yard season. But a knee injury in 1999 derailed his career, which ended after 7 seasons. From 1997-2001 there wasn't a better fantasy player around as Marshall Faulk rushed for 1,000+ yards five straight times and had 80 or more receptions for five straight years. In 2000 as part of the Greatest Show on Turf, Marshall rushed for 1,359 yards and a league best 18 TDs, while catching 81 passes for 830 yards and 8 TDs. Let those numbers sink in as we announce that FOUR WEEKS FROM TODAY THE 2019 NFL SEASON BEGINS!!!

NOW ONLY 27 DAYS UNTIL THE 2019 NFL SEASON OPENER IN CHICAGO!! Are you ready for some football?

Anyone remember Larry Johnson from our NFFC days of 2005-06. He was a BEAST back then. 2005 he led NFFC owners to titles with 1,759 yards and 20 rushing TDs and he followed that up in 2006 with a league-high 416 rushes -- yes 416 freaking carries!!! -- for 1,789 yards and 17 TDs. He also added 41 catches for 410 yards and 2 TDs, giving him a total of 457 touches in 2006!!! Amazing.

Clinton Portis rushed for 3,099 yards and 29 TDs during his first two years with the Denver Broncos while catching 100 passes for 678 yards and two more TDs and his reward was GETTING TRADED TO WASHINGTON!! How do you like that? Oh well, he went on to have four 1,000 yard rushing seasons while being a fantasy stud there. He's the perfect one to announce that there are 26 DAYS UNTIL THE 2019 NFL SEASON OPENER IN CHICAGO!!

With stick 'em all over his body (check out his socks), Fred Biletnikoff turned pass catching into an art and into a Super Bowl trophy. Teaming up with the "Snake", Ken Stabler, Biletnikoff caught everything thrown to him and turned that into a Hall of Fame career. Man those old Raider teams were fun to watch.

So now I see why the Broncos traded Clinton Portis to Washington!! They got Hall of Fame cornerback Champ Bailey in return!! Okay, that makes sense. Just inducted into the Hall of Fame last week, it makes perfect sense for Champ to say there are NOW ONLY 24 DAYS UNTIL THE 2019 NFL SEASON OPENER IN CHICAGO!!
