SOLD OUT: Week 19 Fanball/NFFC $50/50 Teams Contest
Once again we will be offering our NFFC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest every week of this NFL season for a chance to win a FREE 2020 NFFC Primetime entry. Every week -- starting with Week 1 -- you'll have a chance to turn $50 into a FREE $1700 entry plus $50. Then next year you can turn that FREE entry into a $200,000 grand prize. Not bad for $50.
We will post the contest link either later today or tomorrow, but be ready for this one because we filled up leagues every week last year. In fact, I think there were 22 free NFFC Primetime entries won last year in this contest.
The lure of this contest is that for $50, the top team wins a FREE 2021 NFFC Primetime team worth $1,700 and $50 on top of that. Second place earns $300 and third place earns $100.
But that's not the only lure of this contest. Every weekly winner from Weeks 1 through 16 will then be put in a special Week 17 contest with the winner of that contest winning a FREE 2020 NFFC Super entry, worth $2,500. It will be the Champions of Champions Super Bowl in Week 17 with one person coming out of this cage match as the victor. Bobby Jurney did that last year, winning two of the final regular-season weekly contests and then winning the free Super League entry. Well done Bobby.
Our NFFC/Fanball Weekly Contest will consist of 50 teams at $50 per team. We will allow a max of three teams per owner and limit each contest to 50 teams. If we sell out one contest early in the week, we will open for a second league. All of these contests will include Sunday-only players and will use a salary cap to form rosters.
Rules
In Fanball salary cap contests, entrants create a lineup by using players listed in the Player Pool to fill each defined roster requirement. All players have an assigned salary, and a valid roster will not have a salary cap that exceeds $55,000. In addition, the Player Pool will consist of all players expected to be on the active rosters for any team listed in the contest's event set.
Contest results will be determined by the total points accumulated by each individual lineup entry based on the scoring system detailed below.
Scoring
Offense
25 passing yards - 1 point (0.04 per passing yard)
300 - 349 total passing yards - 2 points

Re: Win 2021 Primetime Entry In Fanball/NFFC $50/50 Teams Contest
We also will have an announcement tomorrow about a Fanball GPP contest that is affordable for everyone. We will launch this product in Week 1 with a $5 entry fee and we'll limit it to the first 2,300 players. Limit of 20 teams per player. We will pay $10,000 in prizes, including $2,000 for first place.
It's a small GPP in today's DFS market, but with some players not likely playing as many season-long contests as they have in the past, we thought it would make sense to at least have some weekly offerings. This is one of them and someone here can turn $5 into $2,000 each week. Heck, use your winning lineup from the $50/50 Teams Contest and you could earn $2,000 AND a 2021 FREE NFFC Primetime entry. Boom.
We also will have some NFFC weekly DRAFTS on our site. We did this a few years ago with smaller leagues, but we think once again that due to Covid-19 there might be more interest in normal 12-team drafts consisting of one-week-at-a-time results. So we'll schedule drafts on the Friday and Saturday nights and host a Sunday/Monday-only weekly contest that pays out prizes to the top teams for that week in each league (Thursday night players can't be drafted). They will be 12-team, 14-round drafts using 3RR and we'll start with price points of $100, $200 and $400.
NFFC Weekly Drafts could be fun with nice paydays for a perfect draft. We'll start these in Week 2 and will have more details soon. Thanks and enjoy.

Re: Win 2021 Primetime Entry In Fanball/NFFC $50/50 Teams Contest
The Week 1 NFFC $50/50 Teams IS NOW LIVE!!!
Salaries for Week 1 players are set and finalized. Start building your winning team now and with any luck you could turn $50 into a FREE 2021 NFFC Primetime Entry + $50.
Here you go:
https://www.fanball.com/contests/nfl/k8HpnE3/enter
Also this year, we are teaming up with FantasyPoints.com to create an affordable GPP contest each week on Fanball.com with great prizes. Cost of entry is only $5 and you can enter up to 20 teams for a shot at $10,000 in prizes. The grand prize will be $2,000 and each GPP will consist of just the Sunday games.
FantasyPoints.com will also have six writers competing each week and analyzing the slate on the site and with John Hansen on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. If anyone finishes ahead of all six FantasyPoints.com writers they will be eligible to win a FREE yearly subscription to the site. If more than 5 players finish above all six writers, then we'll pick five names randomly from that group. Knowing our players, this could get expensive over 20 weeks of action for the Guru and his new site!!
Use that winning lineup from the $50/50 Teams into this weekly GPP and turn a small investment into some nice prizes. Thanks all and enjoy.

Re: 42 Spots Left: Week 1 Fanball/NFFC $50/50 Teams Contest
Just a reminder that we'll host a Week 1 NFFC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest involving the Sunday games. Remember, that each weekly winner will earn a FREE 2021 NFFC Primetime entry worth $1,700 + $50 and we'll pay the Top 3 finishers. Every weekly winner then qualifies for the Week 17 Champion of Champions contest where that weekly winner will earn a FREE 2021 NFFC Super entry worth $2,500. Not bad for $50.
Here's the Week 1 contest link:
https://www.fanball.com/contests/k8HpnE3
Jump in soon to secure your team because these sold out quickly last year for 20 straight weeks. If we sell out early some weeks, we'll even offer a second league. But it's 50 teams and that's it.
Thanks and good luck.
