That's why I said didn't know if he had spoken to everyone yet. Give him a call or shoot him an email and I know he'll be happy to go over everything with you.

Tony, next time u play a club in SD give me a heads up. Hey KJ, whatta you say? Of course I can drop you some tix when I bring the party to San Diego, CaliforniA. But bring your "A" game my friend. When I party, who rocks the party? Me. When I rock the party, who rocks the party? ME. Many a friend have said they saw Andy Kaufman, alive and well, after a night partying at Casa de Clifton.

I know you're trying to manage the PR end of this Tom, but let's be honest... the draft summary may be similar to the colored draft grid, but the latter is much more useful. At a glance, you can easily see who else still has to draft a TE or QB, or if the owner after you needs a QB or you can wait, etc. The draft summary has no colors and this info doesn't readily pop out. Plus the grid can be maximized to a full screen separate window; the summary displays about 3 teams at a time.

That's all water under the bridge as the colored grid IS now available and is very slick. But I think I speak for most of the GAMERS league players that we don't wish to be labeled unjustified whiners. ;) The lack of the colored grid was a MAJOR hassle for us and the summary that was available last Wed. was NOT an adequate replacement. Mike you touched on a point that is troubling, that some GAMERS have been labeled whiners for bringing up criticism of the draft room. Well, it got someone's attention and changes were made, so I guess that so-called whining had a positive effect for all.

It's been 5 days since the debacle of the GAMERS league and the very generous offer of a re-do from Greg (thank you), I'm hoping something formal is set up this week. I'd like to see the improvements in a non-mock situation. I've already withdrawn my Online Championship on the 14th, but am hoping with the improvements I will feel comfortable doing the BillyWaz DC.

Mike, I'm not trying to manage the PR end. I'm just trying to provide as much context for the discussion as possible and I'm simply saying the feature to track the team draft summary was available. I didn't say it was as nice as the grid because it isn't. Tom, don't try to re-write history with your context, because the players in this lge have far better context than you. What we had was 100% inadequate for a real draft in which we need to manage, track and analyze a draft in real time ... all of which was made worse with the extremely buggy queue/player profile buttons that we all experienced in that first draft.

The picks weren't showing up in a manner which we're all used to and we couldn't track the draft while also looking for players (gee, who would want to do that?), which means the draft site for the gamers lge was pretty much an experimental POS. Why do you think it took an extremely experienced group of players over 5 hours to complete the draft?

The cosmetic fixes you've since implemented look good. The draft summary, which was poorly conceived, is now a useless afterthough because the draft can be tracked using the pop-out draft board. Hopefully the buggy queue has been fixed too.
[/QUOTE]Couldn't agree more KJ!

I didn't want to schedule anything until we got through tonight's three pay drafts. It looks so far like all three went okay, although we're not done yet. If after these are done and folks want to do a Gamers 2 League on Wednesday night, I'll gladly invite everyone to attend again and I'll take any spot that doesn't get filled. Tom too, Geoff too, if needed. We want to be in there and help anyone who is struggling here.

Let's get through tonight and if Jules can make it on Wednesday night along with others we'll figure it out and see what we can provide for prizes. We have some good autographed items we can play for. But more importantly, I want to show you the updated software can work and the Draft Board and all Admin tools are there that WERE NOT there for Gamers I.

Sound good?
