This needs to be fixed right away, and I am sorry to say that Greg's decision is wrong.
The rules are clearly stated for everyone, and nowhere does it mention returning said player to said team.
I cannot believe the outrage that I have seen on these boards towards the accuser.
This is ridiculous. How can everyone not see the problem here?
I would like to say that I stand by Greg and Tom as I respect them and their service and will always continue to be a participant and supportive of thier contest.
But this is crazy. Somebody made a mistake and he MUST live with that mistake.
This totally affects the integrity and outcome of this contest. I know Greg is doing what he feels best from a business and public relations perspective, yet I disagree whole heartedly.
I surely hope a better compromise can come before this weekends games.
This is from the accused...
"It was my intent to enter Chris Henry and that is who I thought I had entered. IF Steve Smith got entered it was just plain carelessness on my part. I have no idea how to check, or if there is even a way, for me, to see who it was I actually entered after the processing has occurred. The league site shows I entered Smith."
How the hell do you not now who you entered?
Again, human error and carelessness. Your drop should stand as is.
P.S. As for soupdog, I think your personal comments towards the said accuser are way out of line and perhaps you should find a new play pen.

Thank you King, you are correct, the word is "know".
I will gladly accept my human error and carelessness and all consequences and ridicule that may come with it.
I just hope that this human error and carelessnes does not pose the same threat to the integrity of this game that we all love so much.

Doomsday,
You are WRONG. The second line of your original post for this thread is wrong. Look up the word "revoked" and you will understand that the rules do mention returning a player to a team. (Bluefoot apparently had this same issue)
Not trying to provoke you, but just trying to clear things up.

Read the rules, REVOKED. Look it up and read the definition. Sick of listening to the whining drivel from people that are completely unaffected by this mistake.
It takes a great person to be truly humble, and a humble person to be truly great.

I take it none of you support the company that refused to allow Steve Smith NYG to be replaced with Steve Smith CAR in the first rounds of an online draft...I sure don't.
