Michael Edelman Wins 2023 Aug. 30th Super Online & $16,500

NFFC Hall of Famer Michael Edelman of Elmwood Park, New Jersey won the 2023 NFFC 12-Team Super League that drafted on August 30th, winning a total of $16,500. Michael had the most points in the regular season to win $2,500 and his team then scored 643.64 points in the Championship Round to win the title and another $14,000. This is Mike's FIFTH NFFC 12-Team Super League title. Well done Mike.

Mike's ISA Kampeon team finished the regular season with just a 7-7 record, but it had the most points (2,073.25) by a margin of at least 45 points over everyone else. ISA Kampeon never lost that points lead as it scored 187.45 points in Week 15, 122.05 points in Week 16 and then 186.05 points in Week 17. It marked the second straight year that Mike has won a 12-Team Super League title and in commanding fashion.

Marc Fleisher finished second, 43.84 points behind Edelman, to win $5,000, while John Pierce finished in third place to win $2,000. John's Fat Frankie Inc Super 2 team had finished the regular season with the best record at 12-2 and also won another $2,500. Chad Schroeder won the Consolation Round with 547.08 points to earn $500.

Michael's championship team was led in Week 17 by DJ Moore's 30.90 points, while he also got great production from Kyren Williams (30.10 points), Jalen Hurts (26.85), Kansas City's Kicker (26.10) and Houston's Defense (22.0). Justin Jefferson also came through with 26.10 points in Week 16.

Michael had the first pick in this draft and won the title even with Justin Jefferson on the IR for 6+ weeks. That wasn't easy to do in 2023. Great job everyone and congrats to all of the prize winners.
