49 Teams Signed Up For The Debut NFFC Champions Qualifier
We are happy to announce a new national championship in the NFFC this year and we believe this one can be extremely popular right out of the gate.
It's called the NFFC Champions League Qualifier Championship and it combines the scores of three different NFFC contests that many of you are already playing and creates a new set of overall standings. Here's the twist: Each NFFC player must designate one Primetime team, one Rotowire Online Championship team and one Best Ball Championship team to the CLQ Championship before drafting them and those three teams will be used to determine the top 12 teams.
Every NFFC player is limited to just one entry in the CLQ Championship and the champion won't be determined until 2025. The Top 12 finishers in 2024 -- based on their combined scores from their three teams through Week 17 -- will qualify for the Final Table of champions. Those 12 players will then compete in a separate CLQ Championship Satellite league and we'll award the Top 4 teams that qualify for the Championship Round of that league. The top team will earn 50% of the sidepot, 2nd place will earn 25%, 3rd place will earn 15% and 4th place will earn 10%. There will be no prize money awarded from this contest in 2024; this year is used to determine the 12 finalists.
Cost of entry is $2,500 and includes your one NFFC Primetime entry ($1750), one Rotowire Online Championship entry ($350), one NFFC Best Ball Championship entry ($150) and the $250 sidepot. The entire sidepot money (100%) will be distributed in prizes in 2025. The CLQ Championship Finals league will be a combination of Live/Online that will likely be held the Second Weekend of Live Events in Las Vegas, September 2025 and it will be a 12-team league draft.
This concept was introduced in baseball and it finished with 202 unique owners with a pot in excess of $50,000. Could the NFFC CLQ Championship top 250 teams and $60,000 in prize money? If so, that would be a $30,000 grand prize for just managing your three teams you already bought in 2024 and for competing in a satellite league with 11 other top players in the NFFC. We can discuss later if we also want to have an entry fee for that Finals league, but at this point it's not important as we try to introduce this new concept of a national championship in the NFFC.
Again, this was a concept that was developed by our NFBC players with Toby Guevin taking the lead on it. It's a fantastic concept that doesn't force players to buy more teams; instead, it rewards good owners who are having a good year with an additional grand prize for a small fee into the sidepot. If enough people jump into the Champions League Qualifier, this sidepot could really grow and grow.
Anyway, there is a "Champions League Qualifier" Package under Special Packages and the cost is $2,500. It includes all three teams and the $250 sidepot. Feel free to sign up as TBD for each contest and then pick the date and time you want to use these Qualifier teams for when you are ready. These are the three teams that will be used in the Qualifier Championship and you can't change any of them after you have drafted. There's a strategy to picking the right dates and times for your CLQ teams and the team that can dominate in all three formats will earn a spot at the "final table" in 2025. Should be a fun 17-week race to find the 12 best players in the NFFC.
Beginning in Year 3, the previous year’s champion would automatically qualify for the following year’s Champions League, with the top 11 in the 2026 Champions League Qualifier overall standings joining the champion in the next season’s Champions League.
The Champions League has no buy-in (outside of the $250 Champions League Fee). Qualification is entirely based on this year’s performance, with the incentive the chance to win a huge prize for those who are good enough to qualify. Only one person can be involved in the 2025 Champions League Qualifier Finals League; no co-managers will be allowed at the draft table or in running that team.
The winner of the Champions League, in addition to the prizes, is crowned the Champions League Winner and best fantasy football player in the NFFC for that year.
ONE FINAL NOTE: While this is a contest with one entry per person, these are national contests that allow co-managers to be on their teams. First and foremost is winning these national championships for each of you and we've always allowed co-managers on Primetime, OC and Best Ball teams. Heck, some people even have different co-managers for different teams. However, ONLY ONE PERSON is allowed at the NFFC League Champions Qualifier Final Table in 2025 and ONLY ONE PERSON can win the prize money and the title. Let's make that perfectly clear. Thanks.
The Champions League Qualifier Pack is the first contest under Multi-Team Packages on Registration. There will be a separate set of standings for the CLQ Championship under Overall Standings and the standings will show the CLQ Overall Points Standings, along with separate CLQ standings for the Primetime, Rotowire OC and Best Ball Championship. You'll enjoy the start of each week as you try to navigate in each of the three separate national championships, while looking at how you can move into the Top 12 of the CLQ Overall Standings. Should be a blast.

Re: NFFC Champions League Debuts In 2024. Can You Be The Best?
Just a reminder that we are introducing the Champions League Qualifier this year and 100% of the sidepot money will go to the top teams in next year's league. All you have to do is use three of your existing teams -- 1 Primetime team, 1 Rotowire Online Championship team and 1 Best Ball Championship team -- and add $250 to the sidepot and you qualify for this new national championship.
But you must sign up for this Champions League Qualifier under Special Packages. And then you must designate which of these three teams you want for this national championship BEFORE you draft them. It's that easy. Then we add up the points from all three teams and the Top 12 teams after Week 17 earns a spot in next year's Champions League Qualifier.
Those 12 teams will then be in a high-profile draft in Las Vegas/Online and we'll pay the top finishers all of the pool money that was collected this year from each $250 sidepot. It will be one of the highest profile drafts we have in 2025.
Should be a BLAST!!! If you plan on doing all three contests this year, join the Champions League Qualifier. You have nothing to lose and it will give you another set of national championship standings to watch each week.
And if you're interested in this and already signed up for a Primetime team and didn't know about this beforehand, contact me at [email protected] and we'll figure out a way to still get you in the Champions League Qualifier Championship. We can make it work. Thanks all and enjoy what should be a fun, fun debut national championship.

Re: NFFC Champions League Debuts In 2024. Can You Be The Best?
Okay, now don't forget about the debut NFFC Champions Qualifier League. You are signing up for this under Multi-Team Packages and it is the first one on the pulldown. Basically you are signing up for:
1 - Primetime team
1- Rotowire Online Championship team
1 - Best Ball Championship team
And a $250 sidepot
That's $2500 and 100% of the sidepot money will be given in 2025 to those who qualify for the NFFC CLQ Championship league. The top 12 scorers (combining points from all 3 teams through Week 17) will earn a spot in the CLQ Championship league. That 12-Team league will then draft in September of 2025 in Las Vegas/Online and we'll pay the Top 4 finishers in that league.
In baseball, we had 200 CLQ teams for a pot of $50,000. For the NFFC, we'll pay:
50% to 1st place
25% to 2nd place
15% to 3rd place
10% to 4th place
You have to select your CLQ teams before leagues are formed and before draft spots are picked. Pick the right three teams and you could turn that $250 sidepot into $25,000. Thanks all and enjoy.
Here's the current members who are in the CLQ:

Re: NFFC Champions League Debuts In 2024. Can You Be The Best?
We now have 25 owners who are signed up for the debut NFFC Champions League Qualifier Championship. Remember, you are just using three of your existing teams, plus putting in $250 to the sidepot to compete for this new national championship.
However, you MUST sign up all three teams under the Special Packages that says Champions League Qualifier. You can initially sign up all three teams as TBDs and pick their draft dates, times and locations later, but it must be signed up this way. The total is $2,500 and all three totals of your teams' scores after every week will be tabulated and set up in an overall settings with all other teams in this Championship. The Top 12 teams then advance to a CLQ League in 2025 to play for 100 percent of the sidepot.
It's that easy. Just use three existing teams - 1 Primetime, 1 Rotowire OC, 1 Best Ball Championship - add $250 to the sidepot and compete for thousands of dollars in prize money in a new Live/Online league in 2025 and that's it.
We now have 25 teams signed up for the CLQ, which means we have $5250 in the pot. In baseball, we finished with 200 teams and $50,000 in the pot!! Let's get close to that in football and we'll have a great grand prize for this contest in 2025. Remember that we are paying 50% to 1st place, 25% to second place, 15% to third place and 10% to fourth place.
And if you have an existing NFFC Primetime team that you already purchased and want to use that to sign up for the CLQ, just email me and I'll take care of everything. We'll use those funds for the CLQ and add $750 for the Rotowire OC, Best Ball and $250 side pot. Thanks.

Re: 30 Teams Signed Up For The Debut NFFC Champions Qualifier
We now have $7,500 in the 2025 NFFC Champions Qualifier League pot and it's going to keep growing. Remember that 100 percent of the $250 sidepot gets paid out in prizes in 2025 and we'll create a CLQ Championship League with the Top 12 finishers from 2024. This will be a featured Live event in Las Vegas, but we'll also allow people to draft Online. Top 4 finishers will split up the pot, with 1st place earning 50 percent of the prizes.
We're at 30 teams now, but hopefully we keep pushing this close to the 200 teams we got in baseball. If you're playing all three NFFC contests this year - the NFFC Primetime, Rotowire Online Championship and Best Ball Championship - you have nothing to lose by entering the CLQ for an additional $250 fee. Come on in, the water is warm!!!

Re: 35 Teams Signed Up For The Debut NFFC Champions Qualifier
As you sign up for leagues this week, don't forget about the debut NFFC Champions League Qualifier. This is a sidepot national championship where you use the scores from one of your Primetime teams, one of your Rotowire Online Championship teams and one of your Best Ball Championship teams and the Top 12 teams after Week 17 qualify for next year's CLQ Championship League.
All of the money from the sidepot ($250 per team) will be awarded in prizes to this league in 2025. We'll pay 50% to the league champion, so for $250 you could win thousands of dollars just for managing your same three teams that you're managing this year.
It's a fun sidepot contest with great prizes. In baseball, we had 200 teams and a prize pool of $50,000. Even if we finish with 100 teams here, that's still a sidepot of $25,000 and $12,500 to the winner on a $250 extra entry. Not bad at all.
You can find the Champions League Qualifier under Multi-Packages on Registration and it's the first pulldown link. Sign up for three TBD entries if you'd like and pick your CLQ entries for each contest before leagues are formed. Then manage those teams perfectly and you'll qualify for the CLQ Championship League next year. Good luck everyone and thanks.

Re: 40 Teams Signed Up For The Debut NFFC Champions Qualifier
Okay, 40 owners are now in the debut NFFC Champions League Qualifier Championship. That means we have $10,000 in the pot already and the first place team is guaranteed of at least a $5,000 paycheck.
But I know we can double that and more as people learn about this fun concept. Let's keep rolling and Geoff keep posting the resumes of the participants on Twitter. Let's give everyone an insight to each of these great players. Thanks all and come join the party everyone!!!
