11 Spots Left: 4-Hour NFFC Classic League

The NFFC Classic was our signature event in the early years of the NFFC and this year marks the 21st straight year that we are offering this 14-Team National Championship. A lot has changed since 2004, but the Classic continues to be the toughest league in the high-stakes industry to win and that's been proven over the years. During the last 20 years, we've had 20 different overall champions.

Will we get our first repeat champion in 2024 or will we crown a 21st different champion? Let's find out.

One of the things that has changed with the NFFC Classic this year is that we are offering extended drafts for the very first time. That means that we are offering 4-Hour and 2-Hour time frames to make your picks and the leagues will start 30 minutes after the league fills. By offering this new format, it will give more people a chance to compete in the NFFC Classic Championship since we now offer only 7-8 time frames in late August and early September and a lot of our drafters are knee deep in the NFFC Primetime and Rotowire Online Championship at that time.

This format has its own signup link since it's not a created live event league. To sign up, click on Classic - Online and that will give you the 4-Hour and 2-Hour options. If you already have an NFFC Classic signup that you want converted to a Classic - Online entry, just contact me, Tom, Geoff or Brian and we'll transfer it right over. It's easy to do and it's still part of the national championship.

We will again pay the Top 3 finishers in each league, with the league champion earning a whopping $16,000 prize. But NEW THIS YEAR: We will allow the Top 4 teams from each Classic League into the Championship Round, giving one more team per league a shot at the overall championship. The only prize in the Championship Round is for the champion as that owner will be crowned the 2024 NFFC Classic Champion and will earn a FREE 2025 Classic entry valued at $2,000. Let's give more teams a shot at the overall title this year.

Good luck everyone in the battle for the 2024 NFFC Classic Championship title and hopefully these extended drafts give more people a chance to play in this tough, but fun format. Remember, drafts will start 30 minutes after the league is created, so set your KDS preferences immediately after signing up. Draft spots will be announced 15 minutes after the leagues form. Also, there is a nightly pause from 1 am ET to 9 am ET, but you can still make draft picks during the pause. Enjoy and good luck.
