Jack Walsh Wins 2024 NFFC Survivor Contest & FREE Primetime

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Jan 07, 2025 3:43 pm

Jack Walsh of LaSalle, Illinois was the only person to navigate 18 weeks of the NFL season and pick a winning NFL team every single week as he won our second annual NFFC Survivor Contest. Jack and two other players were still standing after Week 17, but Jack's pick of the Indianapolis Colts in Week 18 stood up, while the other two players picked the Atlanta Falcons, who were upset by the Carolina Panthers.

Walsh, 68, has played in the NFBC and NFFC since 2017 and had one Cutline team this year. He has now won a FREE 2025 NFFC Primetime entry and can turn this win into a $250,000 grand prize in 2025. Well done Jack and congrats as this was not easy to do this year. We started with 1,850 teams and almost 1,500 teams were eliminated after Week 2. In fact, we had only 37 teams left after Week 3 as 98 percent of the teams were eliminated after three weeks!!!

But Jack held in there and picked 18 straight winning teams. Joseph Hart and Brian Wentz made it cleanly through 17 weeks before they were upended by the Panthers in Week 18. They will split $1,350 in 2025 credits for splitting the second and third place prizes. Great job guys and congrats.

We'll have the prizes on Player Accounts once we roll over the 2025 site after the Super Bowl. We'll also email the winners once that has happened.

Here were the Week 18 picks:

Walsh - Indianapolis (WON)
Hart - Atlanta (LOST)
Wentz - Atlanta (LOST)

There were six of 202 teams that finished without a loss in our Second Chance contest that went from Week 5 to Week 18. They will split the prizes that were offered in that cost and we'll put credits on their accounts once the site rolls over. Great job everyone and congrats.
