I am against a playoff as to me, if the H2H and the point leader aren't the same team, the power ranking should break the tie.

Greg, How about early entry incentives? I'm not sure what to offer. (I'm sure Gekko will have an idea) But I know there are a LOT of players who are definitely in for next year, and if something is offered to sign up early, you would have plenty of entries before football pre season is even started. I'm definitely in for next year, and if anything is offered to enter early, I'll be signing up in January if possible...lol...I know Tom raffled off a few items very close to draft day this season to entice people to sign. Maybe try and entice people to sign earlier better than later. ? My 2 cents for the day.

I had already planned on proposing this change, but it was listed here, so I'll add it now:

Playoff teams will take their weekly scoring average times two into the playoff round and combine that total with scores from Weeks 14, 15 and 16 to determine the overall champion. Teams in the Consolation Bowl would also take their weekly scoring average times two into the post-season and combine that total with scores from Weeks 14, 15 and 16.

This is still a small consolation to the consistent regular season finishers, but I think it does give a better advantage heading into the playoffs. Tomorrow I'll put these proposals all into a separate thread and let the feedback continue.

i like to focus on 1st or 2nd place prize money. i also like to think that roster management is a key to
1) having a deep roster in the playoffs, should injury strike.
2) drafting player who have favorable playoff matchups

Well, I understand the early bird incentive and if we can get a lot of our NFFC members to commit to us this off-season it will only help us steamroll this event into a bigger payout very soon. We offered registration for baseball right after the MLB season and we currently have over 130 signups for an event that won't take place until March 18-19. Not bad considering we're shooting for 300 in baseball.

We won't charge anyone's credit card until July 15, 2005, that's for sure. We don't need your money, just your commitment. I'll see what I can do about other goodies as well.

Gordon, are you really going to keep that signature for another 1,300 posts? Can't we separate politics and fantasy football on these boards? I mean, let us at least leave the real world while we're having fun here, okay?

Greg, what's your point? And GG, if power rankings can't be used to determine the best team in the league, I choose the playoffs.
