It's a draft and we have enough interest right now in at least one league. We had two leagues in baseball: one auction and one draft, so I know the discretionary income is out there! First-come, first serve on this and if there's enough interest in two leagues we'll offer it.

Hey, just shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] and I'll officially put you on the list. Thanks. If you're drafting in New York again, it would be at the New York Hilton on Sunday, Sept. 4th starting at 1 p.m.

I'm not quite sure what happened to the fourth page of this thread, but here's a list of guys who have said they are interested in this Ultimate NFFC League thus far. These aren't actual signups, just guys who said they would like to compete if we get a full league. Feel free to let me know if you want to be added or deleted from this list:

NFFC ULTIMATE LEAGUE
Sunday, Sept. 4th:
1. King of Queens
2. Dyv
3. Lumpy's Losers
4. JonesFallsTerrace
5. Red Eye Possums
6. TamuScarecrow
7. Mark Moyer (prefers auction)
8. Team Thompson
9. Brad Feinberg
10. Scott Keikoan
11. Jeff Dobies
12. Mark Griffith
13. Jim Ferrari
14. Will Robertson/Pete Lukowicz

greg - i ran this past my people (the ones who haven't left)...i need to withdraw my name at this point. i may be looking to partner up with a few folks or looking to pump the extra money into the nffc main event in some other way. i have a feeling that the 100K is coming back to gekko this year

That's fine. The list is just tentative and includes people who showed an interest on this thread as far back as December. We'll get at least one of these leagues going I'm sure and see how it plays out. I certainly never thought we'd get two for baseball, but we did. Good luck in the football preparation and keep the baseball team moving on up.

i don't want to get into specifics, but i were to put in 5K to the nffc, i'd want to put it where i stand the best % of winning the big prize

[/QUOTE]I understand your strategy Gekko, but if you deferred the 100K check to NEXT year for taxes that 5K would be a write-off anyhow!

I think he means he doesn't want to play vs. a tougher field, which a $5000 League will likely draw.
