NFFC Online Championship To Award $50,000 Grand Prize
Of the two, I would prefer the two team payout.
This challenge is not a self-contained league (to borrow the phrase from a previous thread) and I am playing for a payday, not to get less than half of my cash back.
If it was a 14 team online championship, then I would go three deep.

For clarification, the payouts would be:
Team A is H2H/Points Champ: $1600
Team B is 2nd place Points: $500
---OR---
Team A is H2H Champ: $500
Team B is Points Champ: $500
Most points Weeks 14-16 between A and B: $1,100
Team A is H2H/Points Champ: $1600
Team B is 2nd place Points: $500
---OR---
Team A is H2H Champ: $500
Team B is Points Champ: $500

Most points Weeks 14-16 between A and B: $1,100 Wow, I hadn't thought of that. Yeah, that would be a wild three-week playoff under those payouts. That could really create some excitement during the regular season as every point or win could be worth an additional $1,100, avoiding the league playoff. Okay, keep the feedback coming.

Greg, how does this 2-team payout structure compare to how the top 2 teams make money in the main events and is there a desire for consistency? If I recall, if the h2h champ is a different team than the points champ, then they each got 1/3 of the money that was allocated to the top 2, then they played weeks 14-16 for the other 1/3, correct? So in our Primetime, for example, John Reuss was high points (4 more than us, grrr ) and we slid in for h2h. So we each got 1400, then the playoffs determined who got the other 1400. So... if for the Online, you have 2100 for the top 2, why isn't it 700 each (and 700 more for dual or playoff champ)?
IMO, I'd hate to have kicked ass for 13 weeks, perhaps hundreds of points ahead of the h2h winner, then had 3 lesser weeks than the h2h winner at the end and watch him earn more than 3x what I did. Wow!

Wow! Correct, the payout percentage for first place in the Online Championship would be higher percentage-wise under the scenario mentioned above. If you want to do keep it consistent then you should have $1,400 for first and $700 for second, with each team winning $700 if they split h2h and total points after Week 13. This is the same 4x entry fee and 2x entry fee we've tried to do in other contests.
But I'm not sure everyone wants consistency in all NFFC contests. Some folks seem to want the bigger first place prize. But your points are well taken for sure.
So option C would be:
1st: $1,400
2nd: $700
$700 in league playoff if both teams split the regular season h2h title and Total Points title.

if you go through to sign up for a 3 pack...it shows up as $1050 instead of $950 for price. Just want to confirm you get $100 off through June 30 right?

Yes, the three-pack should be $950 and we'll change it on the back-end if you sign up now. Sorry about that, I thought we corrected that. I'll tell IT again to change that, but yes it's definitely $950 for a three-pack through June 30th.

I like the two-team payout.
Of the pair of options laid out there for two teams, the $1400/$700 is the fairer choice.
There's already going to be enough dough on the line during the 3-week run in the overall championships.
